First visit to Lucky Garden nursery in Tanglin that has a huge car park and a cafe serving Vietnamese food by the same boss. A lady staff from Myanmar was very helpful and friendly and brought me about the garden and recommended me the Pink Quill. Though nothing much for now, she told me more plants will be arriving beginning of next month for the CNY celebration. For now the pink quill will be an awesome addition to my garden β°(*Β΄οΈΆ`*)β―β‘ Will be back again when around the area!
I bought a plant about a month ago, and the very next day its leaves started turning yellow and falling off one by one. A week later, I noticed something strange β there were white lines on the branches. After looking it up, I found out they were scale insects(coccidae). When I checked the storeβs Google reviews, I discovered that many other customers had the same experience β they bought plants infested with scale insects(coccidae), which then spread to the healthy plants in their homes. So I bought some neem oil and started spraying it every other day. I also removed the insects(coccidae) whenever I saw them. But despite all my efforts, all the leaves eventually fell off, and even the new ones began turning yellow. I went back to the store to ask for an exchange, but the owner said it had been more than a week, so they couldnβt replace it. If I had known the problem was due to pests(coccidae) right after buying it, I would have asked for an exchange immediately. Iβm really upset that the store sold me such an unhealthy plant and refuses to take responsibility. I also think other customers should know that this shop continues to sell plants infested with scale insects, even though many people have already complained about it.
Lovely little nursery with friendly Vietnamese staff. Bought 2 big bags of soil ($28 quality + $6 filler) and 3 big plants ($12 each) for my garden.
i've been buying Adeniums from staff, Thuy. Excellent customer service and the plants are healthy and pretty!
At 1st, we were quite turn off as in seeing their plants seems to b lack of care yet when we approached the lady at the counter, she is polite and knows her stuffs well too. Perhaps this place might be just understaffed. They do have nice aglaia odorata bonsai. πHope to see their plants in better care soon as well more organised.
