Student Centre no big problem, But the window from 466A constantly have objects fell from high level ! The Window which is littering is opposite Block 462.We all not sure which level or Unit , according to the students, they are dropping from Level 12 or 8. We are not send our kids every day, but we've already witnessed high res falling objects four times. These objects include a square box, a paper tube, and wet toilet paper (the most recent one was last night 2024/12/23). A teacher said, she once had hit her foot by glass fragments that fell from above. The Learning centre allow kid to jump to higher level. which is nice. But for parents, kid safety is more concern. Please take measures to protect the kids! Thank you.
My kid was having her 2017 Sec 3 science tuition here. Result was not improved. So I called up the center to inform 1 month notice for cancelling her lesson. A new teacher was teaching my kid but my kid didn’t have chemistry with the teacher. A senior teacher have answer my call. I told her my children classmate was cancel the lesson few months ago yet she telling me this kid was very misbehaved. How can she saying this kid misbehave to me & when will she telling other parents about my kid misbehaved in future! Don’t like the way she spoke this way to me.
I have improved and done well after switching to the P6 tuition here. Have learned many important methods and improved by 3 bands /al for my science and math despite of more difficult exam. Thanks to the teachers who always worked the extra mile for us !!! My personal experience with mainspring !!! REAL EXPERIENCES!!!

They also organise fun activities and outings for children during school holiday.
Good center! The staffs was amazing and they even test you your school spellings! Also instead of doing homeworks at home you can do it at the center! They also give you 1-2 worksheets to do!

Mainspring Learning Centre operates on a monthly recurring fee model, priced in the mid-range bracket for Singapore student care. Beyond the monthly programme fee, families should ask about a one-off registration fee and whether a deposit — typically equivalent to one or two months' fees — is required to secure the placement. You may also wish to confirm whether there are additional charges for uniform, insurance, or materials used during the programme. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the amount quoted should be the amount you pay. Contact the centre directly for the precise current fee schedule, as rates can vary by child's age group or level of enrolment. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in eligible student care centres may qualify for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$300 per month for childcare, with the exact amount depending on household income. Working mothers who clock at least 56 hours of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Relief or related working mother subsidies that further reduce out-of-pocket costs. An Additional Subsidy, which is income-tested, can bring the combined monthly subsidy support higher for lower-income families. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at reduced quantum. Because subsidy rates are reviewed periodically by the government, the figures above should be treated as indicative only — visit the ECDA website directly for the most current subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria before making enrolment decisions.
Student care places in Singapore, particularly in well-regarded centres near popular primary schools, can be in high demand. As a general guide, it is prudent to enquire at least three to six months before your intended start date, with the January school-year intake being the most competitive period. If you are planning for the new academic year, reaching out mid-year of the preceding year is a sensible approach. To secure a place once offered, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Mainspring Learning Centre directly by phone or through the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's school level and anticipated start date, as slot status changes frequently.
