About ManyTutors

About ManyTutors

ManyTutors is a Singapore-based private tuition agency operating islandwide, including from its office at Proxima@Gambas in Sembawang. The provider is KakiList-verified and registered with ACRA. It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 across 661 reviews, a robust sample that lends reasonable confidence to the score.

Families typically begin by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether the student is following the MOE mainstream curriculum, IP, IB, IGCSE, or another programme — and then discussing whether a group setting or one-to-one arrangement is more appropriate. It is worth asking about a trial session before committing to a monthly package or term, and confirming whether lessons are conducted at home, at a fixed venue, or online. Parents should clarify the tutor's background, subject specialisms, and availability before a match is made.

To get started, reach out to ManyTutors via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form on their listing to describe the student's level, subject needs, and preferred scheduling, and request a tutor profile for review before the first session.

I had a specific tutor need - I wanted a math tutor specialized in helping students prepare for SASMO and Math Olympiad. Tutor City gave me multiple recommendations within a few hours. We tried one of their recommended tutors and really liked him. My son is now benefitting from great coaching with a tutor who understands his learning needs. A great experience

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does ManyTutors charge per session?

ManyTutors has not published its fee schedule publicly, so per-session rates, monthly packages, and term commitments should be confirmed directly with the agency. As a general market reference, private tuition in Singapore typically ranges from around S$30–50 per hour for primary levels with a freelance tutor, rising to S$80–150 or more per hour for secondary and JC levels, particularly with tutors who hold NIE training or extensive MOE experience. One-to-one rates are higher than group class rates. Ask whether a trial session is available and at what cost, and clarify whether materials or workbooks carry a separate charge. Sibling discounts or package deals for multiple sessions per week may be negotiable. See the full Private Tutors cost guide for Singapore →

Can I try a class before committing?

Many tuition agencies and tutors in Singapore offer a trial session before a student commits to a regular schedule or term package. A trial gives both the student and the tutor an opportunity to assess compatibility in terms of teaching style, pace, and level appropriateness. It is worth observing whether the tutor diagnoses gaps methodically or simply works through a worksheet, and whether the student is engaged throughout. Contact ManyTutors directly to ask whether a trial session is available, what it costs, and whether the fee is credited towards subsequent lessons if you proceed. Come prepared with recent test papers or school results so the tutor can calibrate the session effectively.

What are the tutors' credentials?

ManyTutors has not published individual tutor profiles publicly, so specific credentials — such as NIE certification, university degrees, years of teaching experience, or syllabus specialisms (MOE, IP, IB, IGCSE, or AP) — should be requested directly from the agency before a match is confirmed. A reputable tuition agency should be able to provide a brief profile for each proposed tutor. When assessing fit, ask whether the tutor has experience with your child's specific school or examination board, how long they have been teaching the relevant subject, and whether they can provide references or a sample lesson plan. Confirming these details before the first paid session is strongly recommended. Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
