When enquiring, it helps to clarify the level and style of dance you or your child is interested in — whether that is ballet, hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, or another genre — as well as the relevant age group and any prior experience. Ask whether the studio offers group classes or one-to-one instruction, how classes are structured across a term, and whether there is a trial class available before committing to a longer enrolment. It is also worth confirming whether lessons are conducted at a fixed studio location or whether any online options exist, and what the policy is around missed classes and make-up sessions.
To take the next step, reach out to MCS Dance Studio via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class schedules, available levels, and trial class arrangements before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
If you’re looking for a performing arts studio that is excels and yet keeps things fun and vibey, Maddspace is definitely the place to be. My daughter has been with them and she’s managed to get a Distinction for every level of Pop Vocals exam all the way up to Grade 5. The teachers here really know how to prep the kids—they make sure the technique is solid without killing the passion for singing. What we love most are the massive opportunities they provide beyond just the classroom: Local & Regional Stages: They don't just stay in the studio! My daughter has had amazing chances to perform and compete both locally and across the region. Confidence Building: These international and local exposures have really leveled up her stage presence and confidence. Truly a top-notch school with a passionate owner who cares for his students. If you want your child to excel while actually loving the journey, look no further. Highly recommended!
My girl has been learned K-pop dancing in MADDspace for four years. She likes the teachers and makes friends here. Every Saturday she is so happy because having K-pop class on that day. And the class will have showcase at end of each term and dance camp in holidays and year end recital which allows children to have a chance to perform and greatly boost their confidence level. Good Job and keep up the great work MADDspace! 👍
Very good experience and exposure for my young kids to join hip hop dance and sing class and see all other talented bigger kids to inspire my kids. John and his team are also very passionate and dedicated in their work, especially during the National Day production video. Recommended
My daughter has been a Maddspace-an since Jan 2023 (a little short of 6 months) and we are happy with the structured routine of classes every Saturday, with no surprise cancellations, a fun environment for children with the dedicated teachers and the entertaining dance showcase at the end of each term. She loves Ms Prisca's Hip-Hop classes and would be open to trying her Fav style K-pop in the future. One thing we would like to see is more opportunities for her to showcase her performances in external forums and events. Keep it up, Maddspace!
My Child enjoyed his kpop dancing lesson at MADDspace. A great way for him to release his energy!

MCS Dance Studio has not published a specific per-session rate on its listing, so fees should be confirmed directly with the studio. As a general guide, dance classes in Singapore typically range from S$30 to S$80 or more per session depending on the dance style, class format (group or one-to-one), and duration. Many studios offer monthly or per-term packages that work out more cost-effectively than paying session by session. It is worth asking whether a trial class is available and at what cost, whether there are materials or attire requirements that carry additional charges, and whether sibling or multi-class discounts apply. Many dance studios in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced rate or as part of the first month's fee — before asking students to commit to a full term. A trial session gives you the chance to assess whether the teaching style suits the student, whether the class level is appropriately matched, and whether the student is genuinely engaged and comfortable in the environment. When attending a trial, pay attention to how the instructor manages the class, the ratio of students to instructor, and whether corrections and encouragement are delivered in a constructive way. For younger children, observe how quickly they settle and whether the pace keeps their attention. Contact MCS Dance Studio directly to confirm their trial class policy, cost, and available slots.
Instructor credentials have not been specified in the available listing data for MCS Dance Studio. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each instructor's dance training background, any performance or competition experience, and whether they hold teaching qualifications such as those from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the British Ballet Organisation (BBO), or an equivalent body relevant to the dance style taught. For children's classes in particular, it is also worth asking about safeguarding awareness and how long the instructor has been teaching that age group. Years of teaching experience and syllabus alignment — for instance, whether the studio follows a recognised graded syllabus — are useful indicators of programme quality. If this information is not readily available on the studio's website or social media, ask directly before enrolling.
