Prices have increased twice over the years, with haircuts now at $30 (plus one free cut for every 10 visits). The stylists are professional, friendly, and patient. They take the time to understand your preferred style and adjust it based on your child’s hair pattern and temperament. The nearby toilet also makes it convenient to clean up or change your child after a haircut. If possible, visit on weekdays. Weekends can get very crowded, with waiting times of up to 1.5 hours during peak periods. Since queue numbers are called out manually, parents need to pay attention or risk missing their turn. It would be helpful if the management could consider installing a digital queue display to improve the waiting experience. Overall, a reliable and well-loved salon for families. Highly recommended.

We’ve been bringing our son to J.S since he was just a baby, and she has been amazing every single time. She is super patient and really knows how to handle kids. We’ve had experiences with other hairdressers who got frustrated when our baby moved or fidgeted, but J.S never does. She stays calm and uses gentle, creative ways to distract him, making the whole haircut experience stress-free for both parents and child. Came for infant’s haircut expecting a truly child-focused experience, but it felt very adult-style. The stylists were slow — for example, combing excessively before each cut — and even a simple short haircut for an infant boy took almost 30 minutes, which is far too long for a young child. Tools were just normal scissors, not specifically baby-safe. Chairs were standard salon chairs with a booster seat, while the toy car chair, which seemed like the only child-focused feature, was wrapped up as a prop and not for use. The use of digital screens to keep children still also doesn’t seem appropriate; it relies on extra screen time rather than any specific skill in handling children. Worst of all, the queue system was frustrating for parents with infants: long wait times (about 2 hours, though it was a Sunday), poor communication (no one picked up when we called to check the queue), and even after being notified it was “almost our turn,” we still had to wait outside for 25 minutes, as new children entered empty seats ahead of us. Overall, it doesn’t feel like a place with hairdressers specifically trained for children, and seems more like an adult salon with gimmicks and high prices. If your child is already older and independent, perhaps ok, but they would be ok at a normal salon too - they don't offer anything more. If your child is young infant, then perhaps it's even better if you cut yourself.
