This review has been long overdue, as I needed time to process what happened to my family before I was ready to sit down and write this. For those who ever need to call a GP to certify death, PLEASE do not call this clinic ESPECIALLY during a public holiday. Even more so if the GP you are assigned to is Dr Kwan Yann Haur Sebastian. You are better off making arrangements for a GP directly through your chosen casket service. My grandmother unfortunately passed away at home at 2:10pm on New Year's Day this year, and we had trouble getting into contact with any clinic from the list of contacts given by Changi General Hospital to send a GP to certify her death as it was a public holiday. At the time, we were not aware that the casket service could help us engage a GP from their company contacts as we were told from CGH that we had to make our own arrangements. Finally after many attempts, we managed to get into contact with MW Medical, who said they will be sending a GP our way. Cut to 5pm, GP had yet to arrive. 6:30pm - still no news. After 7pm, we had begun making calls again to get the ETA of the doctor, who kept reassuring us that he was reaching at a certain time, but continued to keep missing that time without any updates initiated from him regarding his whereabouts. His ETA kept getting pushed back at least 3 times. Finally, after 9pm, a whopping SEVEN HOURS after my grandmother has passed, the GP entered the house with absolutely zero urgency, no apologies, and began to do his checks and conversed with us with no regard to decorum, bedside manner or even the slightest shred of empathy. He made jokes that were completely insensitive and paid no attention to the fact that the family was grieving and were in no uncertain terms, NOT amused. I am not writing this for compensation, but rather to warn others so that they will never be put in the same position as my family. As it turns out, my family is not the first Dr Kwan Yann Haur Sebastian has been so casually dirsespectful to, but I hope with all my heart that there won't be too many more after mine. Such an experience was so traumatic that just by mentioning his name, other relatives could recall him and his rudeness immediately when they had to deal with him for their own deceased family member. So MW Medical, my suggestion would be that you take him off your mobile doctor register, and improve your call processes especially during public holidays. Don't make another family wait 7 hours again, especially during such a difficult time.

Friendly and always smiling, the front counter staffs made me very comfortable when I am all sick and weak. They have all the equipment like X-ray & Ultrasound, thus I need not shuttle between few clinics to get a test done. Great time saver for me, as I'm on a tight schedule. Doctors are professional and reassuring, and my recommended doctor will be Dr Madeleine Chew. Her meticulous nature and tender care made me feel that I am well taken care of. Thank you MW Medical.
