About "NASCANS Student Care"
NASCANS Student Care is a student care provider operating at 109 Cashew Road, Singapore 679676, with islandwide coverage across its network of centres. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. Fees are charged on a monthly recurring basis at a mid-range price point.
Families considering student care should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as popular centres can fill quickly — particularly at the start of each year. When you contact NASCANS Student Care, ask about the daily programme structure, homework supervision arrangements, and the ratio of staff to students. It is also worth scheduling a centre visit to get a feel for the environment and to meet the teachers. If your child is a Singapore citizen, you may be eligible for ECDA subsidies, so confirm with the centre whether they are an ECDA-approved provider and what subsidy tiers apply to student care.
To take the next step, reach out to NASCANS Student Care via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to check current slot availability for your child's school and intended enrolment month. Listing data is incomplete — contact "NASCANS Student Care" directly to confirm details.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.
Summary based on 8 Google reviews.
staff very unresponsive. Early closure and uncontactable via phone. Dont ever send your child there.
Used to go there and it is just a little bit fun
Poor student management. Too many kids, unable to go toilet and end up pee on pants
I understand from peers that the standard of care there is acceptable.
My friend and I were at the bus stop chatting when suddenly the student care came the students were fighting for the seat I told them to share them the teacher said that i was being rude I don't get it I was trying to get them to share and she said that if this happened again she would send me to the office and tell the principal i think I have been treated badly by a place that is supposed to care for students my friend said he wpuld tell his parents about the incident and I told my dad about it

NASCANS Student Care charges fees on a monthly recurring basis at a mid-range price point. In addition to the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-time registration fee and a deposit, which at many student care centres amounts to one to two months of fees. You may also wish to confirm whether there are separate charges for uniforms, insurance, or enrichment activities bundled into the programme. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no additional GST should be levied on the core monthly fee. Always request a written fee schedule before enrolment so you have a clear picture of all upfront and recurring costs. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in ECDA-approved student care centres may be eligible for government subsidies. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for eligible families, while the Working Mother's Child Development Subsidy offers additional support for mothers working 56 hours or more per month. An Additional Subsidy, which is income-tested, can bring total combined support higher for lower-income households. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial subsidies, though at reduced rates compared with citizens. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so it is important to check directly with ECDA for the most current figures. Confirm with NASCANS Student Care whether the centre is ECDA-approved and can facilitate subsidy applications on your behalf before enrolling. See ECDA's website for the latest subsidy quantum and eligibility details →
Demand for student care places in Singapore can be competitive, particularly at centres located near popular primary schools. It is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months before your intended start date, with January being the peak intake month as it aligns with the start of the school year. Securing a place typically involves paying a registration fee and, in some cases, a deposit to hold the slot. Contact NASCANS Student Care directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check current availability at the Cashew Road centre. If the centre operates additional locations under its network, ask whether alternative sites have openings that might suit your family's needs.
