Clean, bright and efficient service. There is compassion and love in everything that the staff do. Thank you for the great work in helping the patients. 🙏🏻❤️ have attached photo of the opening hours of pharmacy at level 9. Note: there can be a huge crowd during peak periods/ certain days before public holidays; so do try to be patient and be more understanding towards the staff. It’s not easy to manage a large volume of patients. They are trying their best too.
The staff at Counter 9b consistently exhibit a very poor attitude & the wait time during triage is excessively long. There’s five rooms, ten chairs evenly distributed, with five chairs on each wall. I'm hoping for luck in getting a good team of nurses every time I go for treatment, but unfortunately, my experiences have only worsened each time. The nurses often speak loudly, creating a noisy environment. In a chemo room, if providing tender loving care is not possible, at the very least, allow patients to undergo their treatment peacefully. One time while I was in the restroom, a nurse instructed my wife to wait outside for me. Isn't it part of her job to assist in such situations, especially when it's the end of the day and the environment is quiet and not busy? Throughout my treatment sessions, I've typically been seated on the left, and I've grown accustomed to it. However, on my most recent visit, there were no left seats available, so I reluctantly took a seat on the right. After waiting for an hour for them to prepare, a left seat became available, but they declined my request to switch. Isn't patient comfort a top priority? It appeared that their own convenience and comfort took precedence over the needs of the patients. And why am I required to wait an additional hour past my scheduled appointment time for a transfusion that only lasts 30 minutes? I haven't waited this long before. A nurse removed the needle so quickly after treatment causing me significant pain. I screamed. She doesn't reply when I talk to her. Furthermore, there’s also a lack of guidance concerning dietary or precautions to take after treatments. Please refrain from treating patients as if they are begging. Remember, your job exists because we are here seeking care. Respect goes both ways. I've dedicated my life to working hard and accumulating enough money and CPF for you to deduct from. This treatment isn't provided for free. This bad experience isn't just a one-time occurrence; it has happened repeatedly, and I'm unsure how much longer I have to endure it. Is it the hospital's culture to subject patients to suffering? My days are numbered & I just wish to have better experience while receiving treatment. Is that too much to ask for?
I accompanied my sister to her appointment this afternoon. The scheduled time was 1:40 pm, and we waited outside Room A. During that time, three rounds of patients came and went. Despite checking with the nurses multiple times, the only response we received was that the doctor had not issued any orders and they were unsure when my sister would be attended to. Eventually, a nurse explained to us that this situation happens quite frequently and acknowledged our frustration. I truly believe the nurses have raised these issues to the higher authorities, but their concerns seem to have fallen on deaf ears. I have great respect for the doctors, nurses, and staff who work tirelessly every day. However, the single star is directed at the unresponsive superiors.
On my 3rd chemotherapy, I would like to thanks for the nurse Catherine Kong for her good service, she was very experienced with her skill when putting on the injection on my hand, and she told me can inject the needle onto my upper arm instead of my hand to relieve numbness on my hand. Thank you very much. Hope to meet you on my next chemo appointment.
