went to do a notarisation for a poly diploma to get an apostille at SAL (since the website said they only legalise govt documents and an academic cert was effectively “private”). however, the very kind lady staff told me that I could try getting it done without paying the extra $170 for notarisation and authentication, as long as recipient country just needs a hague convention apostille. i ended up only paying $10.70 to SAL. thank you for being so honest and helpful!
