Prospective students or parents are encouraged to enquire about level and syllabus fit — whether the academy offers classes suited to beginners, intermediate learners, or advanced dancers, and which dance styles are available. It is worth asking whether classes run in groups or as one-to-one sessions, and whether the academy structures enrolment by term or allows more flexible monthly commitment. Those considering joining may also wish to ask about a trial class to assess teaching style and whether the pace and content suit the student's age and experience before committing to a longer term.
To take the next step, reach out to Nexus Dance Academy via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on their profile to ask about current class schedules, available levels, and how to register for a trial session.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
This is the studio you should go to if you want to see results. Even a dance idiot like me don't feel I'm dancing like a clueless monkey after attending classes here. The clean toilet and changing room is absolutely a plus point! All the instructors are very effective I like all of them.
Was able to pick up Latin dancing from absolutely zero experience. The key differentiator is that the Instructor is able to communicate patiently and emphasize on the right techniques to perform the dance movement. Great community as well — Always positive vibes and open sharing of knowledge. Everyone is here to enjoy and improve.
Great studio, professional instructors+ lovely students + delightful atmosphere + perfect location+ good renovation. I enjoy every single class and every minute there. Yes, 6 stars!
Just one month into this Latin dancing, my boy eagerly awaits each week’s session, diligently practicing the steps he learnt at home. The connection forged between Teacher Zhou and the children is simply amazing as they show enthusiasm and discipline during the lessons. It’s clear that the children hold him in high regard and enjoys his teaching. I'm truly glad my boy loves this!
Very clean dance studio located near the Bugis MRT. Instructor Zhou is a very passionate, detailed instructor with good technique pertaining to Latin ballroom dancing. I had a great experience there and would highly recommend people who wants to learn Latin dance to join the class.

Nexus Dance Academy has not publicly listed its per-session or monthly fees, so exact pricing should be requested directly via WhatsApp, phone, or their enquiry form. As a general guide, dance and enrichment classes in Singapore typically range from S$30 to S$80 per session for group classes, with one-to-one sessions running higher. Many academies offer monthly packages or term-based enrolment that work out to a lower per-session rate than drop-in pricing. It is worth asking whether a trial class is available and whether that carries a separate fee. Enquire also about any registration or admin fees charged at enrolment, materials or costume costs, and whether sibling discounts or package deals apply. Many dance academies in Singapore offer a trial class for prospective students before requiring term or monthly commitment. This is a good opportunity to assess whether the teaching style suits your child's learning pace, whether the class level is appropriately matched, and whether the studio environment feels comfortable and encouraging. During a trial, observe how the instructor manages the group, how much individual attention students receive, and whether the student leaves the session engaged and motivated. Nexus Dance Academy has not published a specific trial class policy, so it is recommended to ask directly about trial availability, any associated fee, and what happens if the current class level is not the right fit.
Instructor credentials are not listed in the publicly available information for Nexus Dance Academy. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each instructor's dance training background, years of teaching experience, and any formal certifications — for example, qualifications from recognised dance examination boards such as the Royal Academy of Dance, ISTD, or equivalent bodies depending on the dance styles offered. For children's classes in particular, ask whether instructors have experience teaching the relevant age group and whether the syllabus follows a structured progression. If this information is not available on the academy's website or social media, raise it directly during your initial enquiry or trial class visit.
