This hospital has awesome landscape architecture. The greenery is right in the middle of the hospital like an atrium. It is so enjoyable and relaxing to walk around and look at the nature. There are lots of birds and animals and there are ponds with fish. I went for wisdom tooth removal and I had no problems. Its a hospital, there are waiting times, nothing out of the ordinary here.

KTPH Number 1 Hospital in Singapore better than SGH and CGH. Admitted to ED from Alpha Bravo. 1 Doc was standing by for me already upon reaching. Asked a few questions then came 1 more Doc who both did checks on me. Proceeded to draw blood from my hand. Very skillful doctor it was painless and fast. Few minutes later came another senior doctor who did a scan on my heart. Concluded to ward me to EDTU for 1 night to monitor on my condition. I enjoyed my stay at EDTU, all the doctors and nurses performed outstanding and cared for me. Most of the nurse here are Pinoy. But they are good just like part time maids. Food standard was like your daily market food. I was served fried rice and porridge and milo and biscuits. Very good. Thanks to below 3 doctors. - Abdul Kadir Shah BIN SAHIBUDEEN, - Chia Khoi TANG - Yu Hao Loo And 1 more senior doctor who I forgot his name.

I was admitted on 30 January 2026 to KTPH, and the discharge process was extremely poorly managed. I was scheduled for a morning discharge and was told it would take about 2–3 hours to prepare the documents. While waiting, I went downstairs for a short walk. At 11:43am, the discharge pharmacist called to inform me that my medication was ready and asked me to return to the ward. I went back immediately. Once in the ward, my IV plug was removed and the nurses told me to wait for the pharmacist. After waiting for 30 minutes with no one coming, I informed the nurse that the pharmacist had not arrived. She said she would call the pharmacist. Fifteen minutes later, I checked again and was told that the call was not made. At this point, I was already very frustrated. I asked again if they could contact the pharmacist. Another hour passed before the ward nurses finally told me to go down to the discharge pharmacy myself to collect the medication. And when I went down, the pharmacist said my medicines were already ready. What I don’t understand is why I was asked to wait in the ward for over an hour doing nothing, when I could have been instructed earlier to collect the medication myself. This reflects a broken system and very poor time management. Many patients could be discharged on time if proper protocols and communication were followed. Hospitals often claim they extend care to patients, but making someone who is already unwell wait unnecessarily for hours shows a lack of consideration. Please reflect on this. Based on this experience, the 2.7 star review is well deserved. I would have given way lower.

I would like to raise a concern regarding my recent appointment with Dr Alexander James Creswell at the Pain Management Clinic. The waiting time was excessively long. I waited at least one hour before being seen. After the consultation began, the doctor needed to seek advice from a senior colleague, which resulted in an additional 30-minute wait. This significantly prolonged the overall appointment time. The department appears to be poorly managed in terms of scheduling and patient flow. The total time spent was comparable to what one might expect for a day surgery appointment, which is unreasonable for a standard clinic consultation. While I understand that junior doctors may need guidance, repeatedly checking with a senior doctor—who is also busy—seems inefficient and contributes to unnecessary delays for patients. This experience reflects a lack of coordination and time management within the clinic. I hope the department can review its scheduling processes and improve efficiency to ensure a better experience for future patients.

I had a great experience with Physiotherapist Jeff. He is very professional and attentive. Jeff explained my condition in detail and carefully checked the problem area before starting the treatment. His explanations were very clear and helpful, which made me feel comfortable and confident with the treatment. Highly recommend him!
