I would like to highly commend a specific staff member at Nitori for his outstanding professionalism. Dealing with a defective furniture item is never ideal, but the way Ryo Yamazoe san managed the situation was exemplary. Despite it being the busy Christmas period, he took full ownership of the issue. He was proactive in his communication, providing constant updates and ensuring the return and refund were processed with zero friction. It is rare to see a staff member so committed to protecting the company’s image through excellent service. Because of his promptness and 'best-for-the-customer' attitude, Nitori has gained my long-term loyalty. A company is only as good as its people, and Ryo Yamazoe san is clearly one of their best. May Nitori continue to flourish with such dedicated staff! He is a gem!

Had a very pleasant experience while looking for pillows. The young lady tried looking for the pillow that I wanted while serving another customer and with another customer waiting for her help. Very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. end up buying two pillows for my family even though the pillow I wanted will only be in stock next week. 👍 great customer service, will definitely return for more household items.

Been there a few times and the service was ok except that the staff seemed to be hurrying people up after 9.30pm. But for the recent 2 times, I seem to have an impression that these perhaps 20+ year olds appeared to be more in a hurry to go home. First, I had this tall Malay guy, bespectacled, said the store was closing in 15 minutes. Then right after him, another girl popped in and said the store would be closing soon. I overheard a group of customers openly complaining these two service staff for the same thing. They decided to leave the store immediately but I heard one of the women saying she was going to complain about it. Actually, I was annoyed by that kind of hurrying too. That was too much. If hurrying home was a huge concern, then please go home and don’t come back to work. You are supposed to serve customers. Speaking of which, one senior foreign staff who looked like a French national, was patient and reassured me it was ok to clarify the concerns of the item I was rechecking before buying. As it was genuinely near closing time, I was speeding up my check. The service attitude was professional. Despite clearly running very late, he went to pick a measuring tape and measured the two widths. However, I also noticed one Malay girl also in her 20s or so, seemed to be passing off an eye as we were discussing the width of the product. I was double checking the door width and was wondering if my initial decision to take the larger one too would be a mistake. I had earlier asked another Chinese female staff about the products, but she missed the door width issue. I think the branch manager should look into the staff’s service attitude. This reminds me of a few other stores doing this early reminder too. Our customer service has been declining over the past 20 years. It used to be that the store could still remain open (but with the main entrance closed) even after closing time, as long as there were customers. At certain establishments, stores were already 80 percent closed 45 minutes before closing time. I feedback to them they should automate the entire service and send those staff home ! This one just added to the queue to stores that do such practices.
