Families considering senior day care typically begin with a care assessment to establish the elder's mobility, medical conditions, cognitive status, and social needs. From there, the conversation covers how many days per week are required, what personal care and therapy activities are offered during the day, and whether transport to and from the centre is available. It is worth asking whether the centre can accommodate specific medical needs — such as dementia, stroke rehabilitation, or incontinence care — and how the staff-to-client ratio is managed across the day. Family decision-makers, including adult children who may be working full-time, should visit in person to observe the environment and meet the care team before committing.
To take the next step, contact NTUC Health Senior Day Care directly by phone or via their enquiry form to arrange a care assessment and centre visit at AMK Hub.

I'm thankful to get my mum enrolled in this Dementia Daycare Centre. Half a year ago, I was worried about the care plan for my mum with my dad's weakening health conditions. There was a vacancy at the centre after 2 months on the waiting list. Mum was initially reluctant to go in the first week. Centre managers Jac and Andrew and nurse Shirlynn are very caring and helpful and have found ways to manage and persuade mum to mingle and enjoy the activities with fellow patients. All other staff are friendly and patient with the seniors. Now, I have no worries about my mum and can focus on my work during the weekdays as I know she is well taken care of by a group of angels. A BIG THANK YOU!!!
The staff in Bukit Meath Center takes care of the seniors here very well. They are caring and helpful and always ensure the seniors are well looked after. My mother enjoyed going to the center and always looked forward to her day there. Thank you for looking after her well and allow my family members to have time for our own activities and peace of mind knowing she is in safe hands. A Big Thank You and Kudos to all staff at Bukit Merah Senior Center!
Center is clean, spacious and staff were so friendly and approachable. Most importantly, they are always available to answer phone calls. My mum enjoys going everyday to mingle and play games with folks her age. When I suggested not going for a day, she rolled her eyes and gave me excuses as to why she has to go! Hahaha. I feel at ease to leave my mum at the Center, as they are very accountable, and definitely safer than having her going around, roaming around the neighbourhood.
Staff there are really kind and patient towards the elderly there. They are also especially very helpful to the elderly family members when help are needed. My grandma look forward going to the centre everyday and have fun with staffs and other elderly there. There are also alot of activities being done with the elderly and my grandma share with us everyday when she return home. We also can go to work with a peace of mind knowing that she is in great care with the staffs there. Thank you!
My mum started going to Bt Merah Senior Day Care Centre this Jan. She was initially reluctant & insisted that she will only stay there for max 3 hours/day (Mon to Fri). As her caregiver knowing very well how impatient, fussy & difficult she is, I was actually mentally prepared for this day care plan to fail soon. To date, although it’s only been 2 months, my mum is still going to the centre Mon to Fri and now even miraculously extended to 5 hrs stay each day! I am vy thankful to the caring & helpful staff there & especially grateful to the Centre Manager, Ms Evelyn Khong. Starting from Day 1 she painstakingly follow through making sure my mum goes to the Centre and keep her occupied comfortably there every time. Ms Evelyn is very professional in taking care of both my mum’s physical & emotional needs. She also keeps me updated on my mum’s progress/status timely and give me the needed caregiver support constantly. Whenever a problem occurs with my mum, Evelyn is always able to handle it patiently with great perseverance & empathy. I am very blessed & thankful to all the Centre’s wonderful staff for taking good care of my mum in all ways thus giving me a ease of mind. 🙏🏻💖 I sincerely give them 10 stars for their excellency! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Senior day care in Singapore is typically priced on a per-day or per-month basis. Day care centres generally charge S$60–120 per day before subsidies, with monthly costs varying depending on the number of days attended and the level of care required. Some centres charge additionally for transport, meals, incontinence supplies, and therapy sessions, so it is worth confirming what is bundled into the quoted rate. NTUC Health Senior Day Care does not publish specific pricing on this listing — contact them directly for a quote tailored to your elder's care needs and attendance frequency. NTUC Health Senior Day Care operates as a centre-based day care service, meaning the elder attends during the day and returns home in the evening — this is not a live-in or residential arrangement. This model suits families where a caregiver or family member is present in the evenings and overnight, but needs daytime supervision and structured engagement for the elder during working hours. The number of days attended per week can often be adjusted to match the family's schedule. A trial period is advisable to assess how well the elder settles into the centre's routine before committing to a regular arrangement. Confirm transport options — some centres provide door-to-door pickup — and clarify what happens on public holidays when the centre may be closed.
NTUC Health is a well-established social enterprise in Singapore, and its senior care staff are generally expected to hold relevant care certifications. For day care settings, look for staff trained in elder care, dementia management, and first aid. Ask the centre directly about staff qualifications, the staff-to-client ratio during the day, and how medical emergencies are handled on-site. No regulatory licences are currently listed on this KakiList profile. AIC (Agency for Integrated Care) registration and MOH oversight apply to senior care operators in Singapore — it is worth confirming the centre's registration status directly. Ask whether the centre carries insurance covering client incidents or injuries during the programme day.
