About O School
O School is a dance school listed under Education on KakiList, operating from its studio at 1 Selegie Rd, #05-01/02, Singapore 188306, with islandwide coverage. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, providing a reliable baseline of credibility. It holds a Google rating of 4.9 out of 5 across 149 reviews — a robust sample that lends meaningful weight to that figure. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or package fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly.
If you are considering enrolling in a class at O School, the natural starting point is to enquire about which programme fits your current level and goals — whether that is street dance, contemporary, K-pop, or another discipline — and how the syllabus aligns with your experience. It is worth asking whether classes are offered as group sessions or one-to-one, what the term commitment looks like, and whether a trial class is available before you sign up for a full package or term. Clarifying whether instruction takes place at the Selegie Road studio or at other islandwide locations will also help you plan around your schedule.
To get started, reach out to O School via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about available class slots, current fees, and trial class options for your preferred dance style and level.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My first experience here has been amazing. The team is very welcoming, attentive, and truly takes good care of everyone. There are many diverse classes, the instructors are great, and I’ll definitely be coming back for more. 🙏🏻
Great place to dance and find community. There are 4 studios and 1 mini-hall with different genres/styles. Note there is also a space/hall at S.C.A.P.E at somerset so sometimes classes are held there. Classes usually start at 7 and 8:30.
Hands down, AnAn is the best dance teacher I’ve taken classes with. She’s incredibly talented, patient, and motivating. The class feels supportive, fun, and full of positive energy. Truly grateful to learn from her, highly recommend! ❤️

O School displays a mid-range pricing tier ($$) but does not publicly list specific per-session or package rates, so you will need to contact them directly for current fees. In the Singapore dance school market, group classes typically run S$25–50 per session, while monthly packages and term fees often work out more economical than paying per class. One-to-one coaching commands a premium above group rates. When you enquire, ask whether a trial class fee applies, whether materials or costume costs are additional, and whether sibling or multi-class discounts are available. Some studios also charge a registration or administrative fee at the point of enrolment. See the full dance school cost guide for Singapore →
Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or included as part of a first-week promotion, and it is worth asking O School directly whether this is available. A trial session lets you assess whether the teaching style, pace, and class energy suit you or your child before committing to a full term. During the trial, pay attention to how the instructor explains technique, whether the level is appropriately matched to your current ability, and how engaged the class is overall. If the studio offers multiple styles or levels, a trial in the specific class you intend to join gives the most accurate picture. If a formal trial is not offered, ask whether you can observe a session or join for a single drop-in class before purchasing a term package.
Instructor credentials in private dance schools are not regulated in the same way as academic tutors, so backgrounds vary. Relevant signals to look for include professional performance or competition experience, formal training at a recognised dance institution, years of teaching experience, and any certification from bodies such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) or Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) for classical styles. O School's specific instructor qualifications are not listed in the public directory data, so it is advisable to ask directly which instructors will be leading your chosen class and what their background is. For children's classes in particular, it is also worth confirming the student-to-instructor ratio and whether instructors have experience teaching your child's age group.
