We engaged One Intervention after learning about their work through a close family member, whose school had partnered with them for staff redevelopment and seen positive outcomes. At the time, our son was facing ongoing challenges in school related to emotional regulation, particularly in managing his temper and classroom behaviour. Rather than pursuing specialist intervention, we felt that he required structured, age-appropriate guidance during this developmental stage. We believe strongly that children develop at different rates, and that early support, when delivered in a supportive and non-labelling manner, can be both effective and empowering. Since commencing the programme approximately four months ago, we have observed meaningful improvements in our son’s behaviour and emotional awareness. He demonstrates greater self-regulation, responds better to guidance, and is more aware of his emotional responses. Although there remain areas for continued development, the overall progress has been encouraging. Notably, school-related concerns have reduced significantly, with communication from teachers decreasing from an almost daily occurrence to only one or two instances, particularly following his transition to a new school. Previously, such communications were a significant source of anxiety for us as parents, as each call could relate either to behavioural issues or routine school matters. Beyond our child’s progress, the support provided to us as parents has been equally valuable. The team has been patient, professional, and consistent in their communication, offering practical strategies that we are able to apply at home. We appreciate their child-centred and non-judgemental approach, and would recommend One Intervention to schools and families seeking early, constructive support for children’s emotional and behavioural development.
My little boy has been attending One intervention for more than half a year and he has improved tremendously. From non verbal to verbal. Yes we are very thankful to dear teacher Grace 🙏🏻 From picky eater and refuse to chew anything. Now he can almost finish his food portion . No problem in chewing and always ask for snack 🤣 Grace is amazing, she consistently thinks of out of the box and creative ideas on how to improve my boy learning and development. She is very experienced, kind, friendly, professional and serious on how to help her students do better. My boy loves attending her lesson. He is happy going to the Center and enjoy playing with other teachers and friends after class. Although his development is slower than his peers in school. With Grace help, we believe that he will continue to do better each day. Thank you Grace and all the great teachers in One intervention. ♥️
My son loves Teacher Grace! He asks me, " Where are we going today? Tr Grace centre?" almost daily in the morning. My child has shown improvement in his articulation. He is more confident now as he is speaking louder than before. Tr Grace has many years of teaching experiences. She shared parenting tips with me on how we can be playful when we are with our child. She incorporates play skills, social skills and Speech and Language in one activity. Through her facilitations and guidances, I am amazed to see how much my child has progress. Once again, Thank you Tr Grace for your great passion you have. It benefited all children whom are under your care.
A centre that my child always looks forward to going to. I felt incredibly lucky to have given it a try after hearing other parents talking about the teacher, in a parent group. Before meeting her, my son was only able to label things and had zero communication and play skills. It was heart-wrenching to see other children happily playing while my son watched from the sidelines. However, thanks to the wonderful teacher at this centre, my son can now join in group activities and happily play with other children. He's even started asking lots of "why" questions recently, which is amazing progress for him. Although sometimes I have to admit, I do wish he would keep quiet for a moment! However, me and my husband are really so so grateful to have found this centre and to have the opportunity to share our journey with such a caring and dedicated teacher. I highly recommend this centre to other parents looking for a nurturing and supportive learning environment for their children.
My child loves to go to teacher Grace! Everytime when there’s a public holiday and there’s no school, he would carry his bag and sit at the door and tell us that he has to go teacher Grace! He would be upset when we tell him no class today 😂 He barely talk before we met Grace around my son 4 years old. We are really great that he’s able to tell us his needs and even see him playing catching with his siblings.
