About Pacific Eldercare and Nursing
Pacific Eldercare and Nursing is a senior daycare provider based at 6 Lengkok Bahru, Singapore, serving families islandwide. The service has been verified by KakiList, is registered with ACRA, and holds a Google rating of 4.1 out of 5 across 16 reviews — a small sample, so treat this as directional only. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range bracket, though specific fees are not published and should be confirmed directly with the provider.
Families typically begin by contacting Pacific Eldercare and Nursing to arrange a care assessment, where the older adult's mobility, medical conditions, and daily care needs are discussed in detail. Senior daycare operates on a structured day programme basis, with seniors attending the centre during the day and returning home in the evening — a practical arrangement for working family members who cannot provide full-time supervision. It is worth confirming the hours of operation, the activities and therapy components offered during the day, the ratio of staff to seniors, transport arrangements, and whether a trial period is available to help the senior settle before committing to a regular schedule.
To take the next step, contact Pacific Eldercare and Nursing by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to arrange a care assessment visit and discuss the programme's suitability for your family member's specific needs.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
My mum was just discharged today from respite care. Precious Homes is, by far, the best nursing home we have encountered. The admin staff were very friendly and helpful, patiently going through the terms and cost options thoroughly. Special shout out to Farhana - thank you! And the nurses and aides were very dedicated to care for the patients. Even the security guards were nice. Thank you Precious Homes.
My mum was admitted there for respite care from 21 Nov to 12 Dec 2025. At first thought, I was horrified to see the home looking rather antiquated, with the staff manually adjusting the hospital beds using levers. My mum thought she was at Alexandra Hospital initially too. However, never judge a book by its cover. The staff there always smiles at the residents, asking them how they are. I was also always kept in the loop about my mum, especially when she contracted shingles. The last nursing home my mum went to was 2 years ago. That place looks rather new but when my mum returned, she was immobile, despite the fact that I paid for physio and I was daily visiting her.
The staff are rude and behave like hooligans, no compassion or empathy for residents, not caring or attentive to their needs and food is lousy. From the Admission/Finance lady, Security Guards to the Nurses and Attendants, (except for a few), most are very bad attitude & service, really unexpected of a "private" nursing home like them. Charge private rates but provides sub-standard service level and so many beds (up to 13) cramped in a small room. Please don't send your parents/grandparents there, if not suffer only!
Inadequately trained staffs with very poor communications amongst. Giving wrong information to family members
Very efficient and highly recommended 🙏

Pacific Eldercare and Nursing does not publish specific fees, so pricing should be confirmed directly with the centre. As a general guide, senior daycare in Singapore typically ranges from S$70 to S$130 per day, depending on the level of care, activities included, and whether meals and transport are bundled into the rate or billed separately. Live-in or visit-based home care arrangements carry different pricing structures and may involve additional agency fees. Ask explicitly about public holiday surcharges, the cost of transport to and from the centre, and whether there are registration or assessment fees payable upfront. Put the agreed rate and scope of services in writing before commencing care. See the full eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Pacific Eldercare and Nursing is listed under senior daycare, which is a centre-based model: the older adult attends the day programme at the Lengkok Bahru premises during daytime hours and returns home in the evening. This differs from home-based visit care or live-in arrangements, where a caregiver comes to the family's residence. Daycare is well suited to seniors who are mobile enough to travel to the centre and benefit from structured social interaction, supervised activities, and on-site support during the day. Confirm the operating hours, the staff-to-senior ratio, and whether the centre offers a trial period — typically a week or two — so your family member can adjust to the routine before a longer commitment is made. Ask also about the replacement or contingency arrangement if the centre is closed on a given day.
For a centre-based daycare provider, the relevant questions are about the qualifications of the centre's care staff rather than an individual caregiver. Ask Pacific Eldercare and Nursing whether staff hold nursing, healthcare assistant, or dementia care certifications, and what the supervision structure is during the day programme. It is also worth confirming whether the centre is registered with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) or holds any Ministry of Health recognition, as AIC registration is relevant for clinical and community care providers. Ask about the centre's insurance coverage in the event of a fall or medical incident on premises, and request a written care plan that sets out the activities, supervision level, and emergency procedures applicable to your family member.
