Visited Dr Jay Lim @ Panasia at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre, #11-15 after the yearly check up report on Kidney showing object grown slightly bigger than the year before. I have a wonderful experience with Dr Jay Lim, he was a very caring and professional doctor with great experience, he will explain your report clearly and advise you how to prevent and live healthy. Overall the clinic experience with the nurses and Dr Jay Lm is fantastic and wonderful.
Whilst Dr Look was great, the Mount Elizabeth Panasia Surgery admin staff were very difficult. It took me several months of back and forward to get an itemized bill from the surgery. Which has made it extremely difficult to claim the money from the insurance. Six months on and I am still waiting for the itemized bill and the money from the procedure. A good doctor let down by poor admin support staff.
Had a great experience with Dr Edward Cheong, from initial consult to day surgery to post-op care. Took a lot of time to explain the options and implications, and managed to get my semi-urgent op done quickly and smoothly.
My recent experience at Panasia Surgery left me with mixed feelings. Dealing with Lulu from the administrative team was disheartening due to her poor attitude. When I brought the admin’s poor attitude concerns to the floor manager, there was a lack of direct addressing of the nurse's attitude. Instead, I received explanations on aspects I supposedly need to understand better. The manager's demeanor, focusing on the desktop screen and watch and rushing me off as she needed to be somewhere else, was less than satisfactory in terms of empathy and patient management. Furthermore, when I inquired about escalating my concerns further, the floor manager mentioned that she was the only point of escalation available. However, my experience took a positive turn when I spoke with Panasia Marketing Manager Joycelyn. Her understanding and receptiveness were a saving grace in an otherwise disappointing encounter. I sincerely hope that Joycelyn can elevate my feedback to the higher-ups, prompting initiatives to enhance customer service at the Mount E Orchard Panasia Clinic on level 11.
I have lovely compliments for Dr Jendana but unfortunately today's review is for the staff managing appointments. This is not the first time I experience a very presumptuous staff with a very rude tone. There was a change in appointment timing (yes they did let me know when i did my scan + sent me an email) but with a busy work schedule, I really honestly forgot and actually was about to go for my appointment based on the original timing when i got the call from the rude staff asking me how long i will take to reach the clinic as doc need to go for surgery and as i tried to explain, i really can't remember at that time (honest mistake), she very rudely and persistently told me how the clinic has reminded me multiple times without empathy or understanding my explanation. Would i be doing it on purpose to go see doctor at a wrong time? It would be a total waste of time and effort on my end. I really lost my cool with this staff and when I told her she was rude, she chuckled. I really feel the staff etiquette could be much improved.
