Started out at other studios and ended up making this my 'home' studio after watching Louis's (god level) performance at the open house. Firstly, the vibe at the studio is very open and accepting. People there are all super friendly including the instructors. While still maintaining their professionalism, all the instructors are fun and very supportive. Louis and team have always stressed on safety while doing pole so they will always be there to spot you when you need and will also provide tips while drilling your fundamentals and lines. The studio is also handsdown one of the cleanest as they are always constantly vacuuming and wiping the floors and also keeping the poles clean. Really happy being a student here and highly recommend PXD to anyone looking to start their pole journey.
Been attending the pxd level tricks class for 2.5 years weekly. I definitely recommend picking up pole there! The reasons are as follows: Great physical and mental training: Pole trick is a very demanding whole-body exercise that requires strength, mobility, and flexibility. It helped me get fit in a fun way as compared to usual routine gym training. Some tricks (like upside-down ones) trains our mind and pain tolerance too. We learn to be more confident and comfortable with our bodies in class. PXD tricks level classes help me build a very solid foundation for the pole moves and engagement. Inclusive environment: The level classes go by 8 weeks term so you will get to know all your classmates while training together. The Pole community is the best because everyone is so nice and open-minded. We put in hard work together, spot each other, and have fun in class every single class. The instructors: I love the instructors there. They give attention to every student. I have been in Wei Wei's class for half a year. Louis class for 2 years. They teach different ways to enter tricks that cater to different body types and strength/flexibility levels. They always run to come to spot us and help us with the tricks we are not confident with. They always make the class fun in their own ways. Louis always shows us the possible progression that we can do for certain tricks. Because of him, I started to dream bigger and dare to work hard for the more demanding tricks that require a crazy amount of strength and control. Wei Wei is so nice and patient with everyone in class. Her choreos and flexibility and line are something we all look up to. We really love all the instructor instructors from the bottom of our hearts. Clean studio: The owners really take care of the studio. The decorations are cute and on point. They vacuum clean the floor very frequently. They take care and clean the pole after every class. Even after we wipe down the pole, they will wipe it one more time to make sure it's clean for the next class. The mirror is spotless too. Many of us have gotten used to coming to pxd every week after work for training. To us, pole and pxd feel like a second home to recharge after a busy day. Thank you owners and laoshis ❤️
The best best best pole studio in Singapore and I definitely love all classes they have it in the studio, with all different instructors. Louis has been a very patience and nicest instructor and a passion pole dancer which inspired everyone. He don't show off what he can do, but he will show you what you also can do if you never give up and keep on training :)
Tried a pole trial here led by Louis, who I felt was a super fun and down-to-earth character despite his many accomplishments in the pole community. He taught us many tricks and we had ample time to try it out on our own. The location is rather centralised and easily accessible via Tanjong Pagar MRT/ Telok Ayer MRT. He also demonstrated many jaw-dropping tricks and introduced to us on the various courses available at PXD. As compared with other studios, I would say the price point is very attractive, as well as the close-knitted community. However, booking of the courses need to be done quickly as they go OOS quite fast, a testament to how hot this studio is. Would recommend to all to try!
I've only attended one term (Angel) in PXD so my experience may be considered to be little compared to others in the review section here, but I've had a lot of fun learning tricks (even those I didn't think I was ready for). My instructor was Lisa, and she was attentive, very sweet and kind, always answers questions in great detail and also very caring when she noticed I was injured. Louis covered a class once, and it was much much fun learning from him. The tricks that he 'shows off' leaves me inspired and makes me want to train more, and be better! If my core could be even half as good as his, I'd die a happy student. I have a lot to catch up on and learn from all the laoshis in PXD and I will definitely be back for more!

PoleX Pole Dance has not published a price list on this listing, so specific session or package fees are not confirmed here. In the Singapore market, pole dance studio classes typically range from S$30–60 per drop-in session, with monthly or term packages offering a lower effective per-class rate. Group classes are generally more affordable than private instruction. It is worth asking directly about trial class fees, whether materials or grip aids are included, and if there are any sibling, student, or loyalty discounts. Some studios charge a separate registration or membership fee on top of class fees. See the full Dance Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many pole dance studios in Singapore offer a trial or introductory class at a reduced fee before asking students to commit to a term or package. A trial class is a good opportunity to assess whether the teaching style, studio environment, and class pace suit you. During a trial, pay attention to how the instructor explains technique and spotting safety, how the class is structured for mixed ability levels, and whether the group size allows for adequate individual attention. Wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that leaves the arms and legs exposed, as skin contact with the pole is necessary for grip. Contact PoleX Pole Dance directly via the enquiry form to confirm whether a trial class is available and what it costs.
Instructor credentials for PoleX Pole Dance are not listed in the available provider data. In the pole dance industry, there is no single mandatory Singapore regulatory body governing instructors, though reputable teachers often hold certifications from recognised bodies such as the International Pole Sports Federation (IPSF) or have competed or trained formally in aerial and circus arts disciplines. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask how long the lead instructors have been teaching, what their training background is, and whether they hold any first aid or spotting safety certification. For beginners in particular, an instructor who is patient with technique fundamentals and safety guidance matters considerably. If credentials are important to your decision, ask PoleX Pole Dance directly before booking.
