On a 6 months subscription service purchased from VW group, including 4 charging sessions per month and 2 car wash + tire shine. Pros - Able to charge at almost any place set. - The staff are polite and professional when it comes to providing the said services Cons - Booking is a nightmare. Like trying to strike lottery to get a slot. - Slot opening is not standard. Opens when it opens. Not fixed - WhatsApp/Text is not manned properly, especially in the night time. So if there is any issues with night bookings, good luck. - Car wash is not really a wash. A nanoparticle liquid is used to wipe down the car. - If you charge at HDB carpark settings, you probably need a space with two adjacent lots; one for the charging vehicle, one for yours. If your carpark is not spacious, another good luck finding two adjacent lots. - Slots are opened for late nights and past midnight. However, you will need to keep your charging cover opened for the charging to occur. May not be the safest way is your charging cover is open when another vehicle might reverse into the lot next to your vehicle. Own experience. - Within the last 4 months, twice using a slower charger (usually is 120 kwh) and took much longer to charge. Of those two, once the charge didn't even complete up to 80% and the battery was empty, so that's that. No apologies, no nothing. Just too bad. - Slots booked are seldom exactly on time. They can range from 1 hour in advance to about 5-10 min late. Although they do call to tell you they are coming. Luckily I am mostly around so not that big a deal for me. - Once, the slot was confirmed but it was somehow not logged into their system (8:30 pm slot). SMS and WhatsApp them and no response. Waited for more than 30 minutes past the time and decided to not waste my time. Waited until the end of the next business (about 5 pm) and texted them again. They 'missed' my messages, even though it was both SMS and WhatsApp. - One time they texted they will be about 30 minutes late. Turned out to be almost an hour. - One time the booking system was down. Did not inform users of the issue. Messaged them and they mentioned the IT personnel is checking on it. Checked on every hour and after about 3-4 hours, system back on. No apologies from them, no message to inform users that system is back up. Just assumed users should just constantly check themselves. - Asked them about slots for the next week and it was mentioned the slots will open the next day. The next day is not consistently the same day weekly. Sometimes Sunday, sometimes Friday or some other day. Timing is also not fixed. - Can almost never get a slot the next 2 days unless someone else gives up their slot last minute. Conclusion If you have nothing else to do and too lazy to drive out to find a charger, you can use the service. If you like to constantly try your luck in getting a slot, get their service. If you like logging on every other hour to see if you might have a slot, get their service. If you like the feeling of working for them rather than the other way round, get their service. I am just waiting for the 6 months to end. So much so that I dread every booking.
On subscription service as part of vehicle purchase from VW. Booking via app is a horrible experience, slots do not open up regularly although PUP claims it booking opens up to 14 days before. Initially, PUP helped with booking of appointments through WhatsApp when slots were not opened up in a timely manner. Then on one occasion, when PUP did not turn up and their WhatsApp chat support was not online until 2 hours after my booking (there was absolutely no other way to reach anyone to ask), they directed me to book via the app thereafter. When I feedback to VW about the lack of opening up of slots, PUP then, through my service advisor, helped made the bookings. Their service might be useful for ad-hoc emergencies, but I definitely will not recommend taking up long term service package or subscription. An absolute nightmare!
Awesome service, extremely friendly team, charge at fast speeds. User friendly booking system(p-up website). 👍
Responsive service! Pleasant experience with Wan and Shah. Never going to find or queue for charging anymore.
Very quick service, on a Sunday even. Excellent, recommended

Power-Up Tech will usually ask for a few details (photos, location, preferred time) before quoting a firm figure — this avoids surprise charges on the day.

Most providers listed on KakiList reply within a few hours on business days. For urgent jobs (burst pipe, lockout, aircon failure), mention that in your first WhatsApp message so Power-Up Tech can prioritise the slot. Non-urgent bookings typically start within 2–5 days depending on current schedule.
