ProTeach Student Care at Ang Mo Kio is a great choice for parents. The location is very convenient, right beside a bus stop. My son is able to take the bus home by himself after Primary 4, which gives us peace of mind. The principal, Mrs Seah is a very dedicated and hands-on principal who cares about every child’s well-being and development. She is always approachable and takes the time to listen to both parents and students. Her leadership creates a positive, nurturing, and well-organised environment in the centre. The teachers are caring and attentive to the students. The student care centre also provides daily lunch and tuition, which is very helpful for working parents. Overall, I am very satisfied with ProTeach Student Care and would highly recommend it.
I enjoy going to ProTeach Student Care because the teachers are very kind and always willing to help me with my schoolwork. They explain things clearly and make learning easier for me. The environment is comfortable and friendly, and I feel safe and happy here every day. I also like that we get lunch provided, so I don’t have to worry about being hungry after school. Mrs Seah, the principal, is very friendly and always greets us with a smile. She encourages us to do our best and makes the centre feel like a second home. Overall, ProTeach Student Care is a great place to study, learn, and grow.
After comparing several student care centres, we chose Pro-Teach AMK —and it is the right decision. The small class size allows teachers to give more attention to each child. My child has settled in well and enjoys coming daily. We’re very satisfied with the care provided.
I’m glad I transferred my son out of the overcrowded Anderson school student care. My son is very well taken care of by the experienced team at Pro-Teach. With small class sizes, caring teachers, affordable fees, tasty meals, homework supervision and guidance, plus a solid tuition program — what more could a parent ask for at such a reasonable price?
I transferred my daughter from St. Nicholas Girls’ School (IJ Village) to Pro-Teach AMK. The teacher-to-student ratio at Pro-Teach is only one-third of that at IJ, allowing for more individual attention. The educators at Pro-Teach are caring and dedicated, in contrast to IJ, which primarily employs caregivers rather than qualified teachers. My daughter is now genuinely happy every day. Thank you, Pro-Teach!

Pro-Teach Student Care prices its student care at the mid-range ($$) tier on a monthly recurring basis. When enquiring, ask for a full breakdown that includes the monthly programme fee, any one-time registration fee, and the deposit amount — typically equivalent to one to two months' fees — as well as any charges for uniforms or personal accident insurance. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly fee should be the amount you pay. It is advisable to get the full fee schedule in writing before signing any agreement. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in ECDA-licensed student care centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy (up to S$300 per month for childcare, or up to S$600 for infant care), which is means-tested based on household income. Working mothers who clock 56 or more hours of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Relief or related working mother subsidies. Lower-income families may access Additional Subsidy, which, combined with other support, can bring total assistance to up to S$710 per month depending on circumstances. Permanent resident children are eligible for partial subsidies at reduced quantum. Subsidy amounts and qualifying criteria are subject to change — visit the ECDA website directly for the most current figures and to confirm whether Pro-Teach Student Care participates in the subsidy scheme before enrolment.
Student care places in Singapore, particularly at well-regarded centres, can fill up several months in advance. It is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months before your intended start date. January is the peak intake month, aligned with the school year, so demand for slots from late the prior year through early January is typically at its highest. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Pro-Teach Student Care directly via phone or the enquiry form to check current availability for your child's school level and intended start month, and to understand what is required to hold a spot.
