Very thin walls run down clinic whereby any waiting patients outside can clearly hear the conversations of the Doctor diagnosis of the patient so no privacy whatsoever especially when you come out of the consultation room to have funny stares from waiting patients that know your symptoms. While waiting for my dental appointment, was seated on the opposite couch closer to the dental consultation rooms but yet so hear so clearly which is not as clear in the video . Visited in the evening which sounded like a female Indian doctor

Being a medical professional myself, I don't want to name and shame the doctor who mishandled my case but I am extremely disappointed in her lack of empathy and dismissive attitude that almost made me end up in A&E. I walked into this clinic by chance because it was the only one in the area that did not have any patients waiting inside, and now I know why. It was day 3 of severe tonsillitis for me. The pain was so unbearable even though I was taking Panadol and Celebrex all weekend that I decided to seek medical help. I noticed lymphadenitis of my neck glands, white pustules, swollen tonsils and severe generalised inflammation in the back of my throat when I examined myself in the mirror. The doctor took a quick glance from a distance, without even using a tongue depressor for better visualisation, and declared that my symptoms were not that serious. When I tried to emphasize how poorly I was feeling, she pulled up extreme case images on Google and told me that my presenting signs didn't look as bad in comparison. Her other rationalization was that I wasn't having a fever, despite me reminding her that this may be due to constant self-medication with Paracetamol and NSAIDs as mentioned above. In the end, she sent me home with LYSOZYME of all things, told me to continue self medicating with whatever pain relief I had on hand, and said to come back if the symptoms persisted for more than a week. HSA has already announced the phasing out/de-registration of Lysozyme as a therapeutic drug even way back in 2017 due to its lack of proven clinical efficacy and this is what I'm being prescribed in 2025 as the sole treatment for a debilitating condition that wasn't even checked properly. By later that same evening, my pain was off the scales, I was nauseous, hypersalivating, clammy, had trouble breathing, chest pains and was almost delirious. All because of my "mildly inflammed throat." I hope that the attending GP can look up the potential complications of rheumatic fever if I end up developing it and have that on her conscience, all because she was too afraid to prescribe me with anything stronger. My only regret is not advocating for myself more because I didn't want to disrespect the doctor by dictating what she should do. But I should have listened to my gut. Especially when dealing with a medical professional that has such a blasé attitude and doesn't listen to patient concerns holistically.

This is my 3rd time see Dr Ahmad Syahmi. He is very good explain and details when check my sick condition. For those who are feel the Queue time is longer time for waiting, please be patient to wait for your turn to be called. Thank you Dr for your patient and good service.

don't understand why my scaling and polishing only lasted for 11 mins. went in at 11.07am, came out at 11.18am. am i the only one?
