When I was called to do the body assessment, I happened to go toilet to collect my urin and stool sample. Because of this I waited for another 30 mins to be called to do the assessment. And now, 30 mins after the body assessment, I still haven't been called to do ESG!! What kind of efficiency is this? Moreover, I chose Holland V branch only because it is indicated on the website that this branch can do ultrasound. But the staff told me the ultrasound is full in the morning and I can only do it at 2pm+ or make another appointment? Hello, I indicated I needed to add on ultrasound when I made the appointment! Totally wasting of my time! NEVER COME HERE FOR HEALTH SCREENING!
I went for company health screening. since the time I went still have some period not finishing, I was told to book those check ups using the whatsapp and email they gave me. I wrote in both whatsapp and email, and even called on both whatsapp and telephone, no one replies. I had to go to the clinic counter again on my own to make reservation. Worst health screening experience of my life. Please just go to Fullerton and save at least 5 days of your life. When I arrived I was dismayed that the waiting area as an open area where everyone just idled around waiting for their tests like a fish market. That was just the tip of the iceberg. The nurses then told me the spirometry machine was not working so I had to come back another day to do it, but I can do the rest of the tests first. We all take time off work to go for a health screening; why make someone come down twice when you could've asked them to reschedule due to a broken machine? They also told me that the breakfast included in the package was not available today but they would give a breakfast voucher as compensation. It has been more than a month and I have not received it. It took hours for me to wait for them to call me to do each of my tests. I fasted till my appointment time at 10.30am. I only managed to take my blood test around 12.30pm so I was famished by then. When I was left with one test, the nurses told me to wait and they would call me. I waited 20 mins till the clinic was almost empty and asked what was going on. They said the doctor and nurses were going on break so I had to come back after break. Absolutely not?! I've wasted 3 hours of my time here because of their incompetence, and they expected me to wait another 2 more hours, and even so, did not have the courtesy to inform me in advance rather than ask me to wait to no end??? Eventually, the nurses from the diagnostic department squeezed me in but I'd already wasted 4 hours by then. I received my "initial" report 2 weeks later, and came back to do the test I had not completed (because of the broken machine). That same day, the doctor recommended a repeat of one of the tests. It took me several questions before she adequately explained why the repeated test was necessary. I think it is basic expectation for a doctor to be clear and direct when explaining to their patients?! I took the test. 3 weeks later, no word on the report for those additional tests. I call on a Friday to ask. They promise to call me back the same day. No word. I call on a Saturday to ask. They promise to send me the report and call me back. No word. I call on a Monday. Nobody picks up my 20 calls in 2 hours. Also, the health report is barely legible to a non-doctor. No visual comparions, benchmarking against others. You need to understand the numbers and units used. Unless you're on the brink of death, they will tell you you're fine and not to worry and hurry to get you out of the room. You wouldn't know what else you can do to improve on your health status. For comparison, let me tell you what I've experienced with 5 years of health screening with Fullerton. Fullerton provides individual pods for you to wait in and do your work concurrently. Fullerton would have taken your blood test immediately so that you can eat the food that they will serve you. Fullerton never had broken machines when I went. You would finish the entire screening in 1.5 to 2 hours. You will get all your test results within 2 weeks. The report is user friendly; it shows where you are compared to others, in charts and diagrams. The doctor who follows up with you does it online so you don't have to trek down to the clinic again. Above all, their charge around the same price as Raffles. Never again am I going to Raffles Health Screeners. I've spent weeks regretting this decision. This is a public service announcement for everyone else.
