Raffles Student Care is a student care provider located at 1 Ang Mo Kio Street 32, Singapore 569299, listed as islandwide on KakiList. The centre is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. Families considering student care typically begin by enquiring about available slots for their child's intended start month, as popular centres can fill up quickly — particularly at the start of the school year in January. When you reach out, it is worth asking about the daily routine, staff-to-child ratios, homework supervision arrangements, and the settling-in process for children new to after-school care. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also ask whether the centre is ECDA-approved, which determines eligibility for applicable subsidies. A visit to the centre in person is strongly recommended before committing.

Think twice before enrolling your child in this student care. It’s also worth noting that Teck Ghee Primary School has disabled Google reviews, which makes it difficult for parents to see feedback from others for the school.
Worst student care. Didn’t coordinate with parents . Ownself decide ownself do. The food there is horrible and uncooked. The supervisor is rude and greedy. Want extra tip for to go extra mile .
You get what you paid for, worst student care.
For parent that really care I guess you will need to read. Hope my personal experience will give you a better view. All my word is honest and legit to prevent on any legal problem as well. I never face any problem like this before in my entire life. Both my own child and their school/student care handled matters better and you will feel safe as a parent. But for this student care OMG 😦 I was initially planning to leave a 1-star review, but I also noticed a 4-star review that appeared to be written by the school itself, Teck Ghee Primary School (TGPS). Whether people choose to trust that is up to their own judgment. In my opinion, the student care does not seem to have a proper protocol for handling incidents involving students. There was an incident where my godson was beaten by another student with a book at the student care and was injured near the eye area. The staff only helped to stop the bleeding but did not show much concern afterwards. They did not advise the parent to bring the child to see a doctor or seek medical attention. Over the weekend there was also no follow-up to check on the child’s condition. I even had to take the initiative myself to inform them that I would be bringing the child to see a doctor. The only email we received was regarding a claim if we were bringing the child to see a doctor, which focused more on the payment or claim process rather than asking how the child was doing. Even on the following Monday, there was still no concern shown for the child’s condition. I do not feel that the student care treated this matter as something serious. Plan to send to newspaper or to make this matters up as I was very upset but end up the incident was really probably handled by the vice principal. I also spoke to the Vice Principal from Teck Ghee Primary School on the phone. She mentioned that the student care management was quite new and agreed that the way the situation was handled was not appropriate. She also mentioned that this was not how Teck Ghee Primary School would normally handle such situations. She explained that the school has the authority to stop their contract with the student care operator if such incidents continue, and assured me that the matter would be looked into. She also said that if the student care continues operating in the school, they would need to follow the school’s SOP in handling such incidents. At the same time, she mentioned that while the school appoints the student care operator, they cannot interfere with the hiring of the staff employed by the student care. This may be why the situation was handled the way it was, and she explained this to reassure me during our conversation and so on.... Let cut to my concern is the communication. My uncle, who is the guardian, is not Singaporean and his English is very limited. Instead of contacting me directly, they assigned a Chinese-speaking staff member to communicate with him. As this was mentioned by the school vice principal. It also seemed that my messages through their official WhatsApp were not being responded to. They had mute my number instead of 2 tick it becoming 1 tick throughout. This made it difficult for me to step in and fully understand what was happening. It also became hard to get clear information, and at one point incorrect student care details were even given to my uncle. They given him the wrong timing even the student care was to cllose half day and no lunch included. When my uncle still check with them to prevent any issues. Honestly there still a lot more I could say about this experience even in the way they handle the billing. Rude and non responsive is also one of their problem. Overall, I feel there are many areas that need improvement. Parents may want to think carefully before placing their children there. Even vice principal will can mentioned she can't choose what staff they employ..... Hmmm 🤔 Hope it helps others. So won't go through the same problem like me.
was pretty ok except very strict

Raffles Student Care displays a $$ monthly pricing tier, indicating a mid-range monthly fee, though the exact figure is not published on this listing. When enquiring, ask for the full breakdown — this should include any one-time registration fee, a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months of fees), and any uniform or insurance charges billed separately. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly figure should reflect what you actually pay. Fees vary by programme type, hours of care, and whether the centre operates under ECDA's fee framework. Contact Raffles Student Care directly to confirm current rates before making any commitment. Subsidies for student care in Singapore are administered by ECDA and are available to Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-approved student care centres. The means-tested Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) scheme can offset a significant portion of monthly fees for qualifying families, with the quantum depending on household income. Working mothers who meet the minimum employment hours threshold may qualify for additional assistance. Permanent resident children receive partial subsidies. Because subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, the figures can change — always verify the current quantum and your child's eligibility directly with ECDA at go.gov.sg/ecda or by asking the centre whether it participates in the SCFA scheme. Confirm with Raffles Student Care directly whether it is an ECDA-approved centre, as this determines subsidy eligibility.
Student care centres in popular residential estates and those attached to primary schools can carry waitlists, particularly for the January school-year intake. It is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date, and even earlier if you are targeting a place at the start of the academic year. To secure a slot, most centres require payment of a registration fee and, upon confirmation, a deposit. Current availability at Raffles Student Care is not published on this listing, so contact the centre directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about places for your child's school level and preferred start month.
