I accompanied a relative to visit a couple of specialists at Raffles Medical Urology. We are MOST impressed and appreciative of their professionalism and services. Dr Lim Kok Bin was the first guy we saw (online appointment quite easy to get) and he is very senior and experienced, explaining a lot of stuff that previously highly expensive (and "atas") specialists from other places didn't bother to explain. Secondly, we also saw Dr Wu Qinghui who was recommended by Dr Lim. THIS IS THE SPECIALIST EVERYBODY WHO HAS AN ISSUE MUST SEE!!!! He is so absolutely knowledgeable. He is like the GOD of Urology and can rattle off statistics and probabilities with the academic rigour of a scientist, yet has the practical and emotional sense of a veteran/expert surgeon. And we felt he was genuinely doing this out of passion and compassion. And the fees are comparatively still less than other private surgeons (yes, checked already). They really give Raffles Medical a good name. Another thing, they are also honest and manage their professionalism with integrity. For example, if they feel someone else in another hospital is better at something specific, they were most generous in sharing. I find this rather unique especially in a country where medical professionals are (sadly) driven to maximise revenues. We feel honoured and gratified to have met with these experts, and for the very detailed and enriching consultations with them. I strongly recommend a consultation with them.
