Families considering Rain Trees International Kindergarten should begin by attending an open house or arranging a school visit during operating hours to observe the learning environment and meet the teaching team. The full annual cost picture extends beyond tuition fees and typically includes a non-refundable enrolment fee, a refundable deposit (often equivalent to one term's fees), and potentially a building or capital levy, as well as transport and meals if applicable. Parents should also ask about the curriculum track offered — whether it follows an international early years framework such as IB PYP or another internationally recognised programme — to understand how it connects to primary school pathways, both locally and abroad. It is worth enquiring about SEN capacity, student-to-teacher ratio, and the proportion of expat versus Singaporean enrolment, as these shape the learning environment significantly.
To take the next step, contact Rain Trees International Kindergarten directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to arrange a school visit, confirm current fee schedules including all one-off and recurring charges, and request details of their curriculum, intake assessment process, and any waitlist for your child's year group.
Visit during school hours, verify EduTrust certification on the CPE register, and get the full cost (tuition + enrolment fee + deposit + building fund + transport/meals) and refund policy in writing before paying.
We started our son at Rain Trees March 2025. It has been the best education experience for our son and a great ride for us as parents. We selected Rain Trees for its commitment to educate a diverse group of children particularly focusing on building independence, confidence, sense of query, curiosity, creativity and of course early childhood numeracy and literacy skills. Rain Trees is one of the best schools in Singapore that provides all the above at a very high standard. Educators at Rain Trees are attentive, knowledgeable and supportive. They have helped our son to grow at his pivotal moments in his life. School leaders are amazing as well for their vision, ability to execute, and their strong beliefs in education. We saw our son thrive at Rain Trees and would highly recommend the school to anyone who’s looking for a dynamic, supportive, diverse, and vibrant learning environment for the children. The school is full of details that show the educators’ love. They have really meaningful and engaging activities and events for both children and the parents all year long. I also particularly love their outdoor environment - the beautiful back garden they have just provided lots of fun and opportunities for children to enjoy and explore! Overall a huge thumbs up! Highly recommend!
Finding the right kindergarten is a big deal, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. What stands out the most is the amazing community of teachers. They work together so seamlessly and create a wonderfully supportive environment for the children to grow and learn. The whole atmosphere of the school is just incredibly friendly and warm from the moment you walk in. My child loves going to school here, and as a working parent, knowing they are in such great hands gives me total peace of mind. Thank you to the wonderful team. Kudos to Rohini Ramadas for building such a wonderful community of parents and teachers. Thank you!
If you are looking for a place where your child will feel truly seen, safe and gently guided into kindergarten and preschool life, Raintree International Kindergarten has been that place for us! From the very beginning, the environment has been nurturing, calm, fun, inspiring and warm hearted. As this was our son’s first experience stepping into kindergarten life, the foundation and love they have built in him for learning and being social has been incredible. He walks in with confidence and joy, which says everything. The teachers are incredibly attentive to the details and to each child’s particular interests, meeting them with patience and warmth. The outdoor space is truly unique. The garden, the fresh air, the daily outdoor time and sensory play are such a gift. It feels rare and intentional, giving the children room to explore, move and grow in a very natural way. We are especially thankful for the Butterflies class and the wonderful teachers there. Honestly, we could not have imagined a better place for our son to begin his school journey.

My son attended Rain Trees from age 18 months to 3.5 years. We have since relocated and the experience of finding a new school for him in our new country has truly made me appreciate what we had at Rain Trees. The community that the teachers and staff have built is truly unique and I felt like not just my son, but my husband and I were a part of the school family. There are frequent opportunities for parental involvement, ranging from cooking classes to reading, to art auctions and field trips. The care and personal attention that we received is hard to beat. The school administrators also make it a point to get to know everyone and provide support. We miss you guys!

International kindergarten fees in Singapore typically range from S$25,000 to S$45,000 per year depending on the curriculum and year group, though fees at the kindergarten level may sit at the lower end of that band. The full cost picture extends beyond tuition: expect a non-refundable enrolment fee (commonly S$3,500–7,500), a refundable deposit (often one term's fees), and potentially a building or capital levy at some schools (S$10,000–25,000 at larger institutions). Transport typically adds S$3,500–8,000 per year, and meals S$1,500–4,000 per year if not included. Tuition fees are GST-exempt. Fee escalation of 8–12% per year is common at international schools, which is worth factoring into a multi-year budget. See the full International Schools cost guide for Singapore →
The listing does not specify the curriculum framework Rain Trees International Kindergarten follows, so parents should ask directly whether the school uses IB PYP, an American, British, or another internationally recognised early years programme. At the kindergarten level, the immediate consideration is less about university pathways and more about which primary school the curriculum feeds into — an IB PYP foundation aligns naturally with IB PYP primary schools, while a British early years curriculum connects well with British-stream primary programmes. Parents planning a long-term international school route should confirm how Rain Trees International Kindergarten's curriculum maps onto their preferred primary school, and whether the school can advise on typical onward placement outcomes. Ask the school directly for class sizes and the student-to-teacher ratio.
The typical enrolment process begins with a school visit or open house, followed by an online or in-person application. For kindergarten-age children, a formal intake assessment may be lighter than for older year groups, but the school will usually want to meet the child and family to confirm fit. Popular year groups can carry waitlists, so it is advisable to enquire as early as possible rather than waiting until the term before your intended start date. Confirm the enrolment fee and refundable deposit amounts upfront, understand what is refundable if your family relocates mid-year, and ask about the building fund treatment if applicable. No EduTrust certification is currently recorded for Rain Trees International Kindergarten in this listing — verify the school's CPE registration status directly before paying any fees.
