As a fellow healthcare staff member, I understand that busy days. I waited for my queue number to be called since 10am. I was surprised when I was informed that my number had been called, as I had been closely monitoring the screen & did not see my Q. Turn out a staff member had accidentally pressed "missed queue" instead of "call queue." But im still not happy being waited 2 hours. back in 2022 when a staff member shouted at me as if I were deaf, asking if I spoke English & questioning my nationality. This kind of treatment is not only unprofessional but also deeply distressing for patients seeking care. As the singapore national pledge: No matter what race, color, or background a person comes from, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity.
