About Retire Genie
Retire Genie is a senior daycare provider operating islandwide from its office at Asia Square Tower 1, Marina View. It holds a KakiList verified status and carries a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 19 Google reviews, though the small review sample means this figure should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. No regulatory licences are listed in the current data, and prospective clients should confirm directly whether the provider holds AIC or MOH registration, which is expected for eldercare services involving clinical or personal care components.
Families considering senior daycare for an elderly relative will typically begin with a care assessment covering the senior's mobility, medical conditions, cognitive status, and the number of hours of support required each week. It is worth clarifying whether Retire Genie offers visit-based or centre-based daycare, what medical or personal care activities are within scope, and whether a trial period is available before committing to a longer arrangement. Family decision-makers should also confirm whether a named care coordinator is assigned and how handoffs are managed when the senior's needs change.
To take the next step, contact Retire Genie by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to request a care assessment and confirm current programme availability and pricing. Listing data is incomplete — contact Retire Genie directly to confirm details.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
We hired Sandar and Sumon as temporary caregivers for my mother, as she had sustained complex fractures in her right leg after a car accident. Both ladies were very experienced and intelligent, able to help my mother transition between her bed, wheelchair and the bathroom, assist in showering and other tasks. They were punctual and highly responsible. We wholly recommend them to anyone looking for caregivers.
We were looking for independent living facilities for our aunt who is mobile but unable to care for herself. I found red crown through google search and got in touch with them. The staff were very helpful and prompt. Our aunt is very happy and is well taken care of . We also have daily updates on meals as well as access to cctv in the hall so we can see how she’s doing . I have recommended red crown to friends and family looking for similar care
Red Crowns is a company that is easy to work with. It has a personal quality to it. And many innovative and creative services and solutions for senior care. I’ve reached out to several agencies that provide similar services and Red Crowns stands out in terms of their range of services and solutions particularly in the area of caregiving for seniors. Their turn around time and availability of help are also timely and flexible.
We used the services of RetireGenie over 2 weeks and are very satisfied with their team of caregivers. All of them are from Myanmar- they all have the right disposition and genuinely caring . Amongst them, we found Sandar outstanding- cheerful, bright and very responsive.
The young Myanmese caregiver sent to help with showering my husband when he’s on home leave from the nursing home is very caring, compassionate and speaks very gently to him. She also helps with cleaning him up after he’s done with moving his bowels. He allows her to massage him , something that he doesn’t allow if he’s not comfortable with the person. So far I’ve tried Thet Su Mon for 5 days and have requested for her until end of 2025

Retire Genie's pricing is not publicly listed, and the provider should be contacted directly for a quote. As a general guide, senior daycare in Singapore typically ranges from S$80 to S$150 per day at centre-based programmes, with live-in or hourly home-care arrangements priced separately. Hourly rates for visit-based eldercare commonly run from S$20 to S$35 per hour, with public holiday surcharges applying at most providers. Confirm in writing what is included — meals, transport, personal care, nursing components — and whether any agency fee or administrative charge applies on top of the daily or hourly rate. Retire Genie lists senior daycare as its primary service, which typically means structured centre-based or day-programme care rather than live-in arrangements. However, the scope of services available should be confirmed directly, as some daycare providers also coordinate supplementary home-visit or companionship hours alongside their daytime programme. When enquiring, clarify the daily hours of coverage, what medical or personal care activities are within scope, whether a trial period is offered before committing to a longer arrangement, and what the replacement or escalation process looks like if the senior's care needs change significantly over time.
No regulatory licences are currently listed for Retire Genie in available data. For eldercare providers in Singapore, AIC (Agency for Integrated Care) registration or MOH licensing is expected where clinical care — such as wound management, medication administration, or nursing assessment — is involved. Prospective clients should ask directly whether staff hold relevant nursing or care certifications, and whether dementia-specific training has been completed if that is relevant to their family member's condition. Confirm whether the provider carries insurance covering caregiver injury or incidents involving clients, and request documentation of staff credentials and any regulatory registration before engaging services.
If Retire Genie isn't the right fit, these are other senior daycare providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
