Small and cozy salon, rooms was however spacious, clean and very nice ambience. The whole place also smells really good. Upon stepping in, therapist Kelly helped me to change my slippers and prepared the tea. Afterwards was consultation on what I needed, everything was shared very transparently and she only recommended the treatment that she thought was best suited for me. Do note however $68 is only for the Bali head spa, the other types would cost more but all will be shared before starting. I also added another $88 hair treatment since I was already here and I wanted to try both kinds of service. Her massage and skills were great, although she is skinny she had really good strength as I prefer firm massage, she made sure to use the right pressure to hit all the knots in my shoulders, necks and arms. Blow dry is also included to finish off everything. Products all smelt really good and felt quite nice. so I enquired about the shampoo and bought 2 back also as a support to the therapist as I generally don’t purchase packages. Okay regarding the package selling, do note that there will definitely be selling. It wasn’t too bad, but the person in charge of consulting did asked several times even though I did reject but as I wasn’t confined in any rooms and was free to leave whenever I wanted to it didn’t feel stressful. Overall a pretty great experience and solid therapist! I would recommend Kelly to anyone if they were ever keen to come try. 💗
This head spa is located about a 5-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT, on the second floor of Tanjong Pagar Plaza. The entrance already feels stylish, almost out of place compared to the surrounding area, and once inside, the atmosphere is calm and well designed. There are no random advertisements on the walls, which I appreciated. You are first asked to fill in a consultation form and change into slippers. Essential oils can be selected for an additional fee. The private rooms are quiet, clean, and very comfortable. After changing, a scalp check is done using a machine. They take photos of your scalp and explain the condition, but the images are not saved or provided as a report. You are simply told to “remember how it looks.” Considering how easy it would be to save the images and compare before and after, this felt rather poorly thought out. For the treatment itself, the therapist recommends a menu based on your questionnaire. I chose the treatment that included everything. The session starts with soothing, healing sounds played around your head and ears, which was a very nice and relaxing beginning. The therapist who treated me was a young woman, but she was very skilled. I prefer strong pressure, and it’s rare to find someone who can do this well — she did. That said, the massage focused more on the neck, shoulders, and hands than the head itself. It felt more like a full upper-body relaxation treatment, with hair washing and scalp care as the main focus rather than deep head massage. At the end, another scalp photo comparison was shown. There was a visible difference compared to before, though honestly, after that much washing and treatment, some improvement is expected. Still, the treatment itself was good, and I was initially thinking of coming back regularly. Unfortunately, everything was ruined at the very end. The staff member sat down next to me with a calculator and immediately started selling packages. This was extremely disappointing. I came for relaxation, and aggressive sales completely destroy that experience. Even after I declined, I was told repeatedly that it would be much more expensive next time and that “now is the best price.” None of the prices were cheap, and if you are charging that much, I personally believe the service should remain professional and respectful until the very end — that is how you create repeat customers. I also liked the products used during the treatment, so I asked about purchasing them. The price quoted was more than double the retail price in Japan, and even compared to other shops in Singapore (where the same products sell for around SGD 40), it felt excessively overpriced. The treatment itself is very good. If there had been no hard selling, I would have continued coming. I would recommend this place only to those who do not mind being pressured into buying packages.
Saw the advertisement from Facebook a few times and was wondering how good will the treatment be but it was actually awesome! Immediately my scalp felt well cleanse and my head felt light! Thank you, Kelly for the amazing service! Strongly recommend the scalp treatment with aroma touch with additional $15.
The place is very relaxing with a warm and cozy feeling. Before the treatment, they ask you to fill in a form about your preferences, scalp type, and a few details. The room itself was very comfortable, almost like the ones I visited in Japan. Then after that they will do a scalp analysis in the room as per usual and advises you what is best for your hair scalp. What I found interesting were the special tools they used. They even brushed my face gently with a feather brush to help relax my muscles. My spa specialist, Kelly, was really good. She was skilled, caring, and knew how to work on all my sore areas. The chair was very very comfortable. It's the same as the one i sat in japan during my hair spa there. They also served us a pot of tea in the room, either chrysanthemum or rose. I chose the “Rejuvenate” session (I think that’s the name) at the trial price of $128. You can also add two essential oils for $15 more, or just use the normal massage oil they provide. The treatment was so relaxing that after the first few minutes of soothing sounds and the feather brush on my face, I fell asleep. The location is easy to find, at Tanjong Pagar in an old shophouse on level 2. They also offer packages, but there is no pressure to join. I decided to sign up because I felt the price was worth it compared to other hair spas I’ve tried. Overall, it felt very professional and genuine.
I had a lovely time at Revive! The treatment was thorough and the trial price of $68 for 90mins was more than fair. Kelly was an expert therapist, she had great and consistent pressure, good conversation (but you can opt for a silent treatment too) and the place was really serene and calm. You can sometimes hear next customers talking outside but it’s nothing too loud. For a small location, this was an expert hair spa. There are packages offered but they do not pressure or hardsell if you say no, although they explain everything in a clear and thorough manner. Thanks Kelly for a great experience!
