About "Rhapsody Student Care"
Rhapsody Student Care is a student care provider operating from 21 Gloucester Rd, Singapore 219458, listed as islandwide in coverage and verified by KakiList. The centre charges at a mid-range monthly rate (displayed as $$). It holds a Google rating of 2.3 out of 5, though this is based on only 3 reviews — too small a sample to draw firm conclusions, and prospective families should treat this figure as directional only. No ECDA licence is currently listed against this provider, and this is a material point to clarify before enrolment.
Families considering student care should enquire about available slots for their intended start month, as popular centres fill up quickly, particularly for post-school hours. When contacting Rhapsody Student Care via WhatsApp, Phone, or the online form, it is worth asking about the student-to-staff ratio, the daily routine (homework supervision, enrichment, meals or snacks), the settling-in period for younger children, and whether the centre is registered with ECDA — which determines eligibility for government subsidies available to Singapore citizens.
As a concrete next step, reach out directly through WhatsApp or phone to ask about current vacancy for your child's school level, and request written confirmation of the monthly fee, any registration deposit, and the centre's ECDA registration status before committing. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Rhapsody Student Care" directly to confirm details.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Withdrew my child from KCare at Sembawang Primary School in November 2025 and have yet to receive the refund for my deposit despite repeated enquiries regarding the matter. They keep delaying the refund and it has been more than 10 weeks from the withdrawal date.
Not sure if they are having financial issues like the other student care which closed down suddenly.. I've also yet to receive my deposit for my son who ended in Nov 2025. The WhatsApp Number is no longer in use when I message it. No double tick, no blue tick. Will update to see how and maybe write to MOE.

Rhapsody Student Care is priced at a mid-range monthly rate (shown as $$ on KakiList), but a precise monthly figure has not been publicly listed. When enquiring, ask for the full fee breakdown in writing, including any one-time registration fee, a refundable deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), uniform or material charges, and any insurance levy. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt. Fees can vary by age group, programme hours, and whether full-day or after-school care is selected. Always request a written fee schedule before signing any enrolment agreement. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Government subsidies for student care and childcare are available to Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed centres. The Basic Subsidy covers up to S$300 per month for childcare, while the Working Mother's Child Relief Subsidy provides additional support for mothers working at least 56 hours per month. An Additional Subsidy, income-tested and means-assessed, can bring combined monthly support up to S$710 or more depending on household income. Partial subsidies are available for Singapore Permanent Resident children, though at a lower quantum than for citizens. It is important to note that subsidies are only claimable at ECDA-licensed centres — confirm with Rhapsody Student Care that it holds a current ECDA licence before assuming subsidy eligibility. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically. Visit the ECDA website directly for the most current figures and to use the subsidy calculator.
Demand for student care places in Singapore is high, particularly at well-located centres near primary schools. It is generally advisable to enquire three to six months ahead of your intended start date. January is the peak intake month, aligning with the school year, so families targeting a January start should begin enquiries by September or October of the preceding year at the latest. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit, which may be forfeited if the offer is declined. Ask Rhapsody Student Care directly about current vacancy, expected waitlist duration for your child's year level, and the process for confirming a confirmed spot in writing. Contact the centre via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check live availability before making any financial commitment.
