First time perming my hair and I chose featherz studio as I saw relatively good reviews and often appear on my fyp. I’m not sure what to get, so my hair stylist , Tyler asked if I want a more natural curling which suit me better. He was very detailed and informed me the process of maintaining it and what products can I use. Another Staff was friendly too, she was assisting Tyler. I will recommend Tyler if you are looking to perm your hair! I love that this place do not hard sell their hair products as he realised that it is more expensive than if I look up online! I really love the overall look of my hair now!! Will come back again :)

went to featherz studio to perm my hair and i am very happy with the results!!!! tyler did a really great job- i wanted natural curls and he nailed it. he was very detailed and explained to me the process and every step. u have to look for him if u want natural looking curls. the price was also stated clearly at the start of the session which i really appreciated so that i know there are no hidden fees! also my hair felt so soft after the perm. service was great too! staff were super friendly and they answered my texts quickly and even followed up with me. i will highly recommend tyler if u are looking to perm your hair!

Bad experience.Came across the promotion that was available during the festive period. Decided to try the 199 promotion which said all lengths. The stylist said my hair was pretty treated so pushed for a more premium product at 268. But with disclaimer right from the start is that is if things went south, it was not their problem. Was a little unpleasant but we went on with it. After all the chemical and 3 hours of work, when he remove the rods, my hair was totally limped..and felt super dry n spoilt. Despite all, he did manage to blow out some curls.but It was a failed project as compared to what I did with another salon years ago. He claimed my hair was very treated.but i had rebonding was 18 months ago n last dye was 6 months ago. Doubt its consider as heavily treated. in any case, i do understand, different texture n condition of hair plays a part. I knew it failed as even when it's wet, the texture of the hair was so much worst compared to my curls I did 3 years ago. Even when I recently went to get treatment at my usual stylist, they advised my hair is in a very bad n dry condition and after treatment , hair was limp n not much curls reamins. Said that it could have been overly soften n damaged by the curling chemical. In any case, yes case to case basis..but if ur hair is chemically treated previously, might want to reconsider coming here. As it might not get the curls u see on their social media n risk damaging your hair.

I went to my appointment with Featherz Studio for the first time on Mar 6 and I wanted to thank you my stylist, Tyler. He is a very professional. I was there actually for a perm, after he carefully checked my hair condition, he don recommend me to. He has saved me from breaking n damaging my hair further. I was given a complimentary treatment for my dry hair. Eventually I done fringe soft rebonding n triming. I love this layering trimming. And the sweetest part was at the very last step, he styled my hair with the curler to create the perm which I wanted to do. There's no hard selling and all services are clearly price consulted before starting. It was a great experience, the salon is very cozy n comfortable n everyone are friendly. I will come back again. Highly recommended.
