I recently visited Sabon at Takashimaya and was fortunate enough to be assisted by Haru. As a loyal customer of another brand that is no longer available, I was on the lookout for new products. Haru's service was exceptional—she was polite, friendly, patient, and, most importantly, genuine. She even offered me gastric pills upon hearing about my gastric issues, empathizing as she has similar struggles herself. Despite my peanut allergy preventing me from accepting the snack she kindly offered, her thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. I tested nearly every shower oil and lotion available, ultimately deciding on the Jasmine-scented wash and lotion. Another staff member, Remi (I hope I got his name right), also provided excellent service by giving me lotion samples to try. These samples are invaluable, allowing me to determine which scents I prefer for future purchases. Thank you, Haru and Remi, for your outstanding service. I look forward to being served by you both again on my next visit. P.S The only issue I have is , How to open the shower oil bottle cap? It’s too tight and no, I can’t open it .

The display caught my eyes and I was attended by Linda and Jocelyn. Both of them let me try out the products. I was amazed by the effect of the body scrub followed by body oil which leave my skin soft and silky as I have dehydrated and sensitive skin. Most of the scent is sweet and not pungent. I like the dynamite between these two girls. They make me feel welcome and I wanna know more about SABON through them :) strongly suggest to try the scent white tea and green rose 👍

Very rude staff. I was served earlier by a Chinese lady in glasses and I even complimented her skin. She replied with “errrr” and i was nice to her all the way through but she didn’t really allow me to test any products claiming there was no tester available. As a first time customer I thought she would recommend products or at least tell me to put my bag down and look at the products freely but nothing was suggested. Zero etiquette for customer service . I asked for products with later expiry date and it was not available. I have exactly one year before the products expire. As a first time buyer this has been disappointing to hear. I was entitled to one free gift set. I chose patchouli vanilla but because your staff was unable to “scan” it into her system she told me to choose the jasmine set and i had already told her I didn’t like the smell of it at all. Disappointed your staff doesn’t have any product knowledge, no smiley face and looks disengaged , uninterested to serve. On your website there was a face brush available to use with the bar soap cleanser but your staff didn’t even inform me about it. Super disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm. 2 stars given because i like the products. Otherwise left the store quite unhappy. Edited for accuracy: this was at Raffles City outlet

I went to Sabon looking for lavender scent products and was assisted by a lovely staff Shavonne. She introduced all the products regarding lavender scent to me and patiently demo the usage steps so I could personally experience the effects. What made my shopping experience so enjoyable was that even though Shavonne is quite young, we had a great conversation. She really understood what I was looking for and we shared similar thoughts! It was a very pleasant shopping experience, and the products are great too! I'll definitely visit Sabon again.
