About SAGE Counselling Centre
SAGE Counselling Centre offers senior day care services from its Jurong West premises, with coverage extending islandwide. The centre has been verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a 4.2/5 rating across 21 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal. Pricing sits in the mid-range ($$) though specific fees were not available at the time of listing.
Families typically begin by contacting SAGE Counselling Centre via phone or the online enquiry form to discuss the elder's care needs in detail. A care assessment would normally cover mobility, medical conditions, cognitive function, and the level of supervision or therapeutic activity required. For senior day care, it is worth clarifying the daily programme structure, transport arrangements, meal provision, and whether nursing or therapy support is integrated. Families with multiple decision-makers — adult children and spouses — are encouraged to align on care goals before the first meeting, and to ask about a trial period so the elder can settle into the routine before a longer commitment is made.
To take the next step, call SAGE Counselling Centre directly or submit an enquiry through the contact form to discuss availability, the care assessment process, and current fees.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
Attended 6 sessions of Grief support group. Helpful in processing the loss of my mother and the loss of my late husband. Through interactive creative sessions, able to express emotions and create hope for the future.
Person who answered the call made me uncomfortable. She sounded as if I had intruded onto her private space. Can we have kinder people man the telephone, please?
Do not bother seeking their assistance unless the party that needs help agrees to go. I reached out to them some time back, desperate for help with my erratic father. However, when they spoke to him, they deemed that nothing was wrong and chose to listen to him without any form of arrangement. They cannot do anything to help unless the party who needs help willingly goes. In short, they will not seek solutions to a problem and expect us to figure out a way to resolve it on our own.
OK,very good
Poor administrative management.

SAGE Counselling Centre prices sit in the mid-range ($$), though specific hourly, daily, or monthly figures were not published at the time of this listing. For senior day care in Singapore, market rates typically run S$60–120 per day at centre-based programmes, with monthly packages available depending on the number of days attended. Transport to and from the centre, meals, and any therapy top-ups are commonly billed separately, so it is worth confirming the full cost — including public holiday surcharges — before committing. Some costs may be offset through subsidies (see the subsidies question below). Contact SAGE Counselling Centre directly by phone or enquiry form to obtain a detailed fee schedule. SAGE Counselling Centre operates as a senior day care centre, meaning elders attend during the day and return home in the evenings — it is not a residential or live-in care arrangement. Day care typically runs weekday hours, with some centres offering Saturday sessions; confirm the exact schedule and whether transport pickup and drop-off is available from the elder's home address. For families who need overnight or round-the-clock support in addition to day care, SAGE Counselling Centre can be combined with a separate home care or live-in caregiver arrangement. Ask about the centre's care coordinator or social worker who can help map out a blended care plan suited to the elder's medical and social needs. A trial period — attending for a week or two before committing to a monthly package — is standard practice and allows both the elder and the family to assess fit with the programme and staff.
SAGE Counselling Centre does not currently list specific regulatory licences or staff certifications in its public profile. Families should ask directly about the qualifications of day care staff — relevant credentials include WSQ certificates in community care, dementia care training (such as the Alzheimer's Disease Association's Dementia Care Competency programme), and first-aid certification. For day care centres in Singapore, registration with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) and adherence to MOH care standards are worth confirming, as AIC-registered centres are subject to inspection and quality assurance processes. Ask whether the centre carries public liability insurance and what the protocol is if an elder experiences a fall or medical event during the programme. Insist on reviewing the care agreement, which should specify staffing ratios, emergency procedures, and the process for communicating daily updates to the family.
