Prospective students or parents should enquire about level and syllabus fit before committing — whether the classes are suited to beginners, intermediate learners, or a particular dance style. Ask whether a trial class is available, what it costs, and what to look out for during that session in terms of teaching approach, class pacing, and group size. Clarify whether classes are run in groups or on a one-to-one basis, what the term commitment looks like, and whether there is flexibility around make-up lessons for absences. The studio is located along North Bridge Road, and it is worth confirming whether sessions are held fully in-person or whether any online options exist.
To take the next step, reach out to Sean The Dance Kid via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current class schedules, available levels, and trial class arrangements before signing up for a full term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
The studio is amazing because of the instructors Justino, Ching and Kelvin who are knowledgeable, passionate and dedicated in bringing the best quality ballroom and latin classes to us. There are also many opportunities to improve our craft via competitions and performance exposure etc. Overall, it is also a conducive place with everyone being welcoming!! I really enjoy my time here. :)
I have been learning latin dance from JCDA for many years, and I enjoy dancing there as it brings me happiness and at the same time release my stress from my school work. The teacher there is very patient in teaching and professional. The teacher taught me to be more confident, perseverance and prepare me from competition. I wasn’t confident in myself previously, after they taught me, I became more confident and trusting myself that I am able to reach my goal in competition. So, I do recommend people to come and learn, there is no age limit and you don’t have to worry that you have zero basics as they will teach you patiently.
Teacher Ching is very detailed in her teaching. She focuses a lot on techniques to help students achieve stronger dance foundation. I’ve been taking lessons with her to prepare for my competition and she has prepared me well, helping me to look more refined on the dance floor. She also hears my concerns on what I think I’m weak and want to improve eg my arms and arms styling and she finds the best ways to help. When I watch my practice or comps vid, I can see improvements. Will definitely recommend JCDA if you are looking for kind and patient coaches 👍
Went to their Trial class on last week because I’m looking for dance studio that can guide me with my current dancing skills then Ching advice me to attend 1 of their standard intermediate level class (which is chargeable on reasonable rate) to try out and to get advice from the instructor in the end of the class, The Dance instructor gave us clear guidance and instructions during classes and the class is fun to follow with the fellow classmates is helpful & friendly and yes! Based on the lesson offered to my beginner friend during trial class .. JCDA beginner class is perfect for beginner students too. ❤️
Instructors are really sweet and encouraging with me. You can actually improve in techniques with the way they conduct their lessons because they really do look into the tiniest detail even in group classes to tell you what you can do better in terms of execution of of steps and at the same time you to look better while doing the choreography. Highly recommended 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Sean The Dance Kid is priced at the S$$ band, but specific per-session fees, monthly packages, and term rates are not publicly listed and will need to be confirmed directly with the provider. Typical dance school pricing in Singapore ranges from S$30–60 per group session and S$80–150 or more for one-to-one classes, depending on the style and duration. When enquiring, ask whether a trial class is offered and at what cost, whether materials or attire are required at additional expense, and whether sibling discounts or multi-class packages are available. Some schools charge a registration or enrolment fee at the start of each term. See the full Dance Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class before a student commits to a term, though policies vary — some charge a nominal fee while others apply the trial cost against the first term if you continue. It is worth asking Sean The Dance Kid directly whether a trial is available for your child's age group and intended style. During the trial, assess whether the teaching pace suits the student's current level, whether the instructor gives clear feedback, and whether the class size allows adequate individual attention. A good trial class should give you a realistic sense of the ongoing experience, not just a showcase lesson. If a formal trial is not offered, ask whether you may observe a regular class before enrolling.
Credential information for Sean The Dance Kid is not publicly listed on this directory. When enquiring, ask directly about the lead instructor's training background — including any formal dance qualifications, performing arts certifications, or affiliated bodies — as well as how many years they have been teaching. For children's classes in particular, it is also reasonable to ask about safeguarding or child protection training, class sizes, and whether instructors have experience working with the specific age group or skill level you have in mind. If credentials are not readily volunteered, treat that as a reason to ask more questions before committing to a term.
