Singapore General Hospital (SGH) is Singapore's flagship public hospital.
Homeowners contacting SGH Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre typically ask about Digestive & Internal Medicine. The team positions itself as a working healthcare outfit rather than a generalist, so you can expect questions about scope, access, and timing before a quote is confirmed.
SGH Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. Google reviewers currently give SGH Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre an average of 2.8/5 across 15 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a healthcare provider.
To move forward with SGH Inflammatory Bowel Disease Centre, WhatsApp is the most efficient channel: describe the problem, share a photo if applicable, and mention your location. KakiList doesn't charge either party, so the quote you receive is the quote the provider actually offers.
COLD at block 3 room 24 Doctor Alexander Chung I recently accompanied my father-in-law to see Dr. Alexander Chung for a consultation regarding gallstones, and we couldn't be more impressed. What stood out most was Dr. Chung’s incredible patience. He took the time to explain the condition in a way that was perfectly tailored for 'old folks' to understand, avoiding overly complex jargon without being patronizing. He has a very friendly and approachable demeanor that immediately put my father-in-law at ease. He was very thorough in outlining the key risks and benefits of the treatment options. We left the clinic feeling well-informed and confident in the next steps. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a compassionate and professional specialist!.
I am at SGH Ambulatory Endoscopy Centre for a day procedure today. The registration staff Shoidah Binte Mohd Wambriat at counter 2 needs to re-train in her customer service skill especially in a Healthcare context where staff are expected to be caring and patient. Her tone was so insulting and impatient when I seek clarification on insurance claiming payment issues and asked her to repeat. This is not acceptable in a healthcare environment and the staff needs to be more understanding.
The worsest experience in my life. I did surgery there and started to feel worse than before surgery. Go for 1st appointment and doctor said everything is amazing. After this my condition was worse and worse. I call to do 1 more appointment with doctor to understand what's wrong and they tell me earliest appointment only in 2 months!!!! and not allowed me go to other doctor. I visited other clinic and did 1 more surgery for fixing all issues after my first surgery in SGH!!!!!!!! Don't recommend at all.
I'm writing this because of the inefficiency from SGH appointment management. I was scheduled to have an appointment with a doctor on 8th March 3.50pm and save it in my calendar. The appointment was rescheduled to 9.40am. I was already at SGH when I checked my app to look for the clinic and realised it has been changed without notice. I understand that there might be unforeseeable circumstances. The doctor might be busy or have other important duties to attend. However, the least you can do is to inform me of the rescheduling so I that can make the necessary adjustment to my schedule. I understand the importance of your time and also the critical nature of healthcare but our time needs to be respected too. It can affect our work and family schedule. The least you can do is to send us a message, email or call us to inform us.
Made an appointment for review but had to wait for 15minutes for registration while the counter staffs were gossiping with no patient in queue. Moreover waited for almost another hour for the chubby pancake face intern or MO for less than 10 minutes review and paying for a senior consultant fees ( until now have not seen that senior consultant). What’s the use of making appointment when the system is so screw-up? Ironically, SGH is ranked as 1 of the top hospitals! Either the ranking methodology is questionable or that is the ranking for SGH 10 or 20 years ago! Good days is hard to come by nowadays!!
