About Singapore Christian Home
Singapore Christian Home is a senior daycare provider based in Sembawang Crescent, offering services islandwide. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, with a 4.1-out-of-5 rating across 54 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable indication of service quality. No regulatory licences are recorded on this listing, which is worth confirming directly with the provider, as eldercare services of a clinical nature typically require AIC or MOH registration.
Families enquiring about senior daycare should begin with a care assessment to establish the elder's mobility, medical conditions, and daily support needs. It is worth discussing the programme's daily structure — including activities, meal provision, medication management, and staffing — alongside the hours of operation and transport arrangements to and from the centre. Clarify whether the service is purely social and wellness-oriented or whether trained nursing or therapy staff are on-site, and confirm the staff-to-participant ratio. Family decision-makers, including any who are not the primary caregiver, should be involved early in the assessment process to ensure the placement suits everyone's expectations.
To take the next step, contact Singapore Christian Home by phone or via their enquiry form to arrange a care assessment and a visit to the Sembawang Crescent centre before committing to any care arrangement.
Insist on a trial period and put the care plan, hours, and rate in writing.
This morning I had a good meeting with the home representatives Vani. She was very helpful and encouraging to our situation. We were so stressed with our mum health conditions and stay at the home while we were also having financial issues at home. She give us a good listening ear and being very patient and understanding on the difficulties we are having now. She really make a great social worker without a single doubt. We hope more people would enjoy her guidance and blessing. 🙏 Amen

SINGAPORE CHRISTIAN HOME Before sending my aged aunt to Singapore Christian Home (SCHome), I have been praying hard that she can be accepted as a Resident in the Home (which I selected it as my First Choice), as it's near to where we're residing and I can make an attempt to visit her everyday. We felt so lucky when Ms Claire Chin (SCHome) called and informed me within a week after my Application that there is a bed space to accommodate my aunt in the Home. I personally like the environment of SCHome as it's a straight forward Building (not complicated as other Nursing Homes by going around to search for the Wards) and uniquely clean with well maintenance. I have no regrets in making the right decision to place my aunt in SCHome as I believe she'll be well taken care of. My aunt (a Resident of SCHome since 11 January 2024) is happy staying there (Level 4) as she has a lot of Guardian Angels (Staffs, Nurses and Assistant Physiotherapist) who cheer and brighten her days by cleaning, bathing, tube-feeding, exercising, chit-chating, fighting (ha..ha..) to shower her daily with their professional loving tender care respectively. Believe not only those Staffs and Nurses of Level 4 deserve my credit, but all your other Level Staffs and Nurses, they also deserve a "thumb up" for their great sacrifices and delicated times in looking after the elderly, the children, the sick and vulnerable. KUDOS to everyone up there in Singapore Christian Home..keep up your good works and may God shower His Blessings upon each one of you with good health always and may your Nursing Career endeavour thereof. FIGHTING..FIGHTING (加油.. 加油) Warmest Regards Joanne Sim (Niece of Mary CG Sim)
Visited the home today. Ms Foo Chuan Wan attended to me for my mum pre enrolment interview and arrangements . She is so polite and patient with all my request and maybe a little demanding expectation. She is truly very professional amd I'm so grateful for her kind assistance. Thank you Chuan Wan and God Bless you and your loved ones.Thank you so much.
When I came here during community work, it is the best part of the estate since we got to know some people who lived at nursing homes. It is a peaceful place.

Singapore Christian Home displays a moderate price band ($$), but specific hourly, daily, or monthly rates are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the centre. Senior daycare in Singapore typically runs from S$60–120 per day depending on the programme and level of care included. Confirm whether the quoted fee covers meals, transport, and any therapy or nursing components, or whether these are billed separately. Ask about public holiday surcharges and any registration or assessment fee on first enrolment. Singaporean seniors may be eligible for government subsidies through the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), which can substantially reduce out-of-pocket costs — see the eldercare cost guide for Singapore →
Based on the listing, Singapore Christian Home operates as a senior daycare centre, meaning elders attend the programme during the day and return home in the evening — it is not a residential or live-in arrangement. This model suits families where the elder lives at home with a family caregiver or a domestic helper, and requires additional support and structured activity during the day. Confirm the centre's daily hours, whether door-to-door transport is arranged, and whether a trial period is available before committing to a regular schedule. If live-in or overnight residential care is needed, Singapore Christian Home may be able to refer families to appropriate residential facilities.
No regulatory licences are currently recorded on this listing. For eldercare services involving nursing, medication management, or therapy, AIC registration or MOH licensing would be expected. It is important to ask Singapore Christian Home directly whether the centre holds any AIC or MOH registration, and what qualifications their staff hold — particularly for any nursing, dementia care, or rehabilitation support offered on-site. Also confirm whether the centre carries public liability insurance covering participants during programme hours, and what the protocol is if a participant falls ill or sustains an injury on the premises. Insist on getting the care plan, hours, and rate in writing before the placement begins.
If Singapore Christian Home isn't the right fit, these are other senior daycare providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
