When I mentioned to friends about my biopsy result, so many came forward with their surgeon contact. Solis came highly recommended by 3 different friends. I am so glad to have met Dr Esther Chuwa. She was the 2nd breast surgeon I consulted and she was detailed and thoughtful in describing the biopsy result, what it means and next steps. Unlike the 1st surgeon who had booked an MRI for me the next day, she suggested waiting for my period to come before doing the MRI as there might be false positives if I were to do it immediately. She was skilled and my scar is healing well. The nurses at Solis were attentive and kind too. One of them noticed that I was scared at my first visit and went to arrange for an immediate consult with Dr for me. I am grateful for her attentiveness coz I won’t have been able to sleep if I only got to meet Dr two days later! The nurse responsible for communicating with me via Whats App was patient, replying to my questions even on a weekend and consulting with Dr with the image I sent over to reassure me. The clinic is spacious and smells nice so it’s a calming experience when u await for your turn. Some details like this make it more comfortable when u are feeling anxious. I am so thankful for Solis.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Dr. Tan. I have undergone two biopsies with her, and both procedures were so smooth that I was left without any scars. She is extremely kind and patient with every detail, despite being a highly sought-after doctor with a very busy schedule. I also want to extend my gratitude to the front desk nurse, Joyce. She is professional, caring, and very efficient — truly an excellent nurse who makes the whole experience much more comfortable.

Terrible appointment service and reception service. My mom made an appointment at 2:30 pm. We checked in at 2:10 pm and were told there’s a 1h+++ wait with 6 patients in front of us. The receptionist seated at the main counter on the left was extremely nonchalant and rude about the delay, mentioning that it was simply the normal waiting time to see the doctor, even though we had made an appointment. Firstly, if there’s going to be a delay, I think it’s basic decency and respect for your clients to inform them. As much as your doctors’ time and clinic revenue are important, I think your patients’ time should also be treated with equal importance. Secondly, I think it’s acceptable if there’s a 10-20 minute waiting time but a 6 people and 1h+++ waiting time is simply outrageous. It clearly reflects the flaws and inadequacies in the clinic’s time management. Thirdly, the receptionist could have offered to inform us 1-2 patients before, so we could return on time. However, we had to ask her if she could inform us. Imagine if the waiting time was reduced and we miss our appointment, simply outrageous. Otherwise, the only saving grace was the professionalism and expertise of Dr Tan. It’s a pity how the horrible appointment management of the clinic is ruining patients’ experience.
