About Stowell Chiropractic
Stowell Chiropractic is a chiropractic practice located at The Central on Eu Tong Sen Street, serving clients across Singapore. New clients typically begin with an initial consultation where the chiropractor assesses the presenting condition — whether that is lower back pain, neck stiffness, postural issues, or referred pain — along with any relevant medical history or contraindications. From there, a care plan is discussed, which may involve a single session or a recommended course of treatment. Clients can enquire about session frequency, whether packages or single-visit bookings are available, and the cancellation policy before committing. Those with complex or ongoing conditions may benefit from bringing any existing imaging or reports to the first appointment.
To take the next step, contact Stowell Chiropractic directly via phone or the enquiry form to book an initial consultation and confirm current availability.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
Thank you, Dr. Liew, for consistently providing relief from my migraine and lower back pain. Your expertise goes beyond chiropractic adjustments and you skillfully release muscle tension and always pinpoint the exact areas that need attention. I appreciate how easy it is to communicate my pain points, allowing you to focus treatment effectively. Depending on the condition, multiple sessions may be needed for full recovery, but the care is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a knowledgeable and experienced chiropractor. Receptionist are also warm and welcoming too.
I rarely write reviews, but my shoulder / neck tension significantly improved after just one session. At my second visit, Dr Liew told me that I didn’t need any more treatment. I truly appreciate his honesty and professionalism, with no pressure to buy packages.
So much relieve for my neck discomfort after 1 treatment with Dr liew. No introduce any unnecessary package or hard selling make the whole experience even more relax and enjoyable. Not my first visit with Dr liew and would come back anytime for treatment.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Here is a summary of the horrible experience. Paid $220 for a 20-minute session and 1 bottle of lotion. No explanations or guidance given, not even a word of advice. They totally give the impression that they're simply there to crack some bones and get paid, nothing more nothing less. And right now, I can double-confirm on that attitude, because I've emailed them and dropped them a message via their website, but they are not responding to my request for a soft copy of the invoice. One of the worse experiences ever, zero effort towards customers.
I had been suffering from persistent neck and upper back pain for quite sometimes, making it difficult to even sit comfortably. After seeing Dr. David, I was amazed at how quickly my pain started to subside. He took the time to explain the underlying issues, educating me on posture and exercise to promote overall health. I’m thankful for his patience and willingness to go the extra mile :)

Stowell Chiropractic displays a mid-range price indicator, though specific per-session fees are not publicly listed. Multi-session packages are common and generally offer a lower per-visit rate than individual bookings. Confirm the full fee structure directly with the clinic before your first appointment, including whether a separate consultation or assessment fee applies on top of the adjustment fee, the cancellation or no-show policy, and whether GST is included in the quoted price. No GP referral is required to book a chiropractic consultation in Singapore, though bringing one — or any relevant imaging such as X-rays or MRI scans — can help the chiropractor assess your condition more efficiently at the first visit. Most practices ask new clients to complete an intake form covering medical history, current symptoms, medications, and any contraindications such as osteoporosis, recent fractures, or blood-thinning medication. If you plan to submit a claim through an integrated shield plan or corporate health insurance, check with your insurer beforehand, as some policies require a GP referral for specialist or allied health reimbursement. For complex spinal conditions or post-surgical presentations, a GP or specialist referral is advisable before commencing chiropractic care.
Chiropractic is not currently regulated under a statutory licensing board in Singapore, unlike physiotherapy or TCM. There is no government public register equivalent to the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) for chiropractors. The main voluntary credentialling body is the Chiropractic Association of Singapore (CAS); membership and any degree qualifications from an accredited chiropractic institution are the primary trust signals to look for. When booking, ask the clinic to confirm the chiropractor's degree institution and whether they are a CAS member. Stowell Chiropractic does not list regulatory licences in its current KakiList data, so it is worth confirming credentials directly before your first appointment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
