About Tanglin Arts Studio
Tanglin Arts Studio is a KakiList-verified dance school based at Hollandse Club in Camden Park, offering classes across Singapore. Pricing sits at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or package fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the studio.
Prospective students and parents can start by enquiring about level and syllabus fit — whether that means beginner, intermediate, or advanced streams, and which dance styles are on offer. It is worth asking whether classes are structured as group sessions or available on a one-to-one basis, and what the term commitment looks like. The studio's location at Hollandse Club in the Buona Vista and Sixth Avenue corridor is convenient for families in the Holland Village, Clementi, and Bukit Timah areas, though the islandwide coverage indication suggests enrolment may not be restricted by proximity.
To take the next step, contact Tanglin Arts Studio via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class schedules, age and level groupings, and whether a trial class is available before committing to a full term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
We decided to move my daughter to a larger dance school to give her greater exposure to difference dance styles, exams, concerts and competitions. After lots of research, we decided on Tanglin Arts Studio - which has been the best decision. My daughter does jazz, acrobatics, ballet and has just started with the mini performance team; since joining she has grown in leaps and bounds. The TAS end-of-year performance is extraordinary; nothing I have seen before. Just incredible! The talent, support, professionalism, commitment and 'family' nature of TAS is what makes this dance school truly special. Looking forward to many more years together!
My daughters have been dancing with Tanglin Art Studio for almost a decade. We started in their Mummy and Me classes when they were 2 years old and they have really flourished with the teaching style and community. They have consistently loved dance and the opportunities to perform has given them so much confidence in their bodies and their abilities. Every year they ask if they can try another dance style to add to their repertoire 😊. There is a very affirming approach to the studio and the teachers focus on fun, understanding your body and working together to create dance numbers, and as a mother I really appreciate that this is a caring place to explore arts and dance. The biggest compliment I can give is, TAS is the only place my daughters are excited to go to multiple times a week on their own accord and they’ve made many friends, both international and local. Diversity and Dance 💜💜💜
If you are looking for a friendly and professional dance studio with a wide range of classes - TAS is an excellent match. The techers are great, they put their heart and skills into each class and not least the end of year performance show - which is an amazing experience! Our daughter has developed a true love for dancing and stage performance under the guidance of TAS, and she is already asking for the theme of this end of year performance, as she is looking so much forward to it! The previous themes of the shows our daughter has participated in are: «The Wizard of Oz», «Charlie and the Chocolate Factory», «Lights! Camera! Action!» and «Mary Poppins». All were huge successes and amazingly well choreographed, and very professionally organised and executed.
My daughter has been a student at Tanglin Arts Studio (TAS) from the age of 4, making this her seventh year. She calls TAS her second home and has made life long connections with her teachers as well as fellow students. She has only grown in her overall self confidence. TAS is inclusive and welcomes difference, and represents the strength of diversity in its international student body. It is an exceptionally body-positive space and offers the perfect balance of rigour and discipline with joy and self expression, with a diverse range of classes in the performing arts.
Our two daughters have been coming to Tanglin Arts Studio for a number of years and they absolutely love it. The teachers are wonderful—motivated, passionate, and incredibly supportive—with a great ability to read the children and respond to them as individuals. It’s a nurturing environment that truly builds confidence and fosters a love for all styles of dance. They are also presented with fantastic opportunities to perform.

Tanglin Arts Studio has not publicly listed its per-session or package fees, so the exact figures should be confirmed directly with the studio. As a general guide, dance classes in Singapore are commonly priced by the month or term rather than per individual session, with group classes typically ranging from S$25–60 per session depending on class size, duration, and the instructor's level of experience. One-to-one sessions generally cost more. Ask the studio about trial class availability and whether a separate fee applies, what materials or attire are required, and whether sibling or multi-class package discounts are offered. Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class — either at a reduced rate or at the standard session fee — before asking students to commit to a term or monthly enrolment. It is worth contacting Tanglin Arts Studio directly to confirm their trial class policy and any associated cost. When attending a trial, look out for how the instructor manages different ability levels within the group, whether the pace and style suit your child or yourself, and how engaged students appear throughout the session. A well-run trial should give you a clear sense of teaching style, class size, and whether the level is appropriate before any term commitment is made.
Instructor credentials are not listed in the publicly available information for Tanglin Arts Studio. For dance schools, relevant qualifications to ask about include formal dance training or performance background, teaching certifications from recognised bodies such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) or ISTD, and years of teaching experience at the relevant age group or level. It is also worth asking whether the instructors have experience preparing students for graded examinations if that is a goal, or whether the focus is primarily recreational. Contacting the studio directly via WhatsApp or phone is the most reliable way to get this information before committing.
