About Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care

About Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care

Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care is a student care centre located at Blk 441 Fajar Road in Bukit Panjang, verified by KakiList as an operating provider. It holds a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 on Google, though this is based on 11 reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Monthly fees are displayed at the mid-range tier ($$) and are recurring in nature, which is the standard model for student care in Singapore.

Families considering enrolment should enquire about available slots for their intended start month as early as possible, as places at student care centres can fill up several months in advance. When you make contact, ask about the daily routine, homework supervision approach, enrichment activities, and the staff-to-child ratio. It is worth arranging a centre visit to get a feel for the environment and to meet the staff directly before committing. Parents of Singapore citizen children should also enquire about ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce the monthly out-of-pocket cost depending on household income and the mother's working status.

To take the next step, reach out to Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current vacancy for your child's level and to arrange a visit to the centre.

Alhamdulillah a place where I feel at ease when my children are in. Teachers do not hesitate to come forward to ask the follow-up they need to do about my children well being. Teachers continuously updating about my children and their progress. From JS my children learn loads about the importance of being a Muslim child. Definitely a student care which I recommend to all Muslim parents. Kudos to JS @ Fajar team.

My son enjoys going to JS. In JS, there are lots of program queuing for our kids to explore and expose. Eg, in the recent months, they went to Masjid Kampung Wak Hassan in Sembawang. They learnt the etiquette while in the Masjid and experienced the feeling of 'kampung'. Not only that, there are lessons like arabic learning for the kids too. It is a good form of exposure to our kids.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care charge per month?

Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care displays its pricing at the mid-range tier ($$), with fees structured as a monthly recurring charge, which is the norm for student care in Singapore. You should confirm the exact monthly fee directly with the centre, as rates can vary by the child's age group and the number of days enrolled per week. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about any one-off registration fee, security deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and whether uniform or insurance costs are charged separately. Childcare and student care fees are GST-exempt for centre-based providers in Singapore, so no GST should be added to your monthly invoice. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies can I claim at Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care?

Singapore citizen children enrolled at an ECDA-licensed student care centre may be eligible for the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) or the Student Care Fee Assistance (SCFA) administered by MSF, which is income-tested and can significantly reduce monthly fees for qualifying families. Eligibility is based on gross monthly household income or per capita income, and applications are typically submitted through the centre. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial assistance under certain schemes, though the quantum is generally lower than that for citizens. Subsidy amounts and eligibility thresholds are reviewed periodically, so it is important to check directly with ECDA or MSF for the most current figures rather than relying on older published rates. Contact the centre to confirm which specific assistance schemes they are registered to administer, and ask for guidance on the application process before enrolment.

Is there a waitlist at Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care?

Student care places in Singapore, particularly those affiliated with schools or located near popular primary schools, can be in high demand. It is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date, with January being the peak intake month when Primary 1 children begin school and demand surges across all student care centres. To secure a place, most centres will require payment of a registration fee and sometimes a deposit, so clarify the centre's procedure when you make initial contact. Given that Tarbiyyah Islamic Student Care operates from a single location at Blk 441 Fajar Road, capacity is fixed and places are limited. Contact the centre directly via phone or the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's level and preferred start month.
