Enquire with your event date, venue, expected headcount, and the age band of the birthday child — entertainment and activity formats differ considerably between toddlers, school-age children, teenagers, and adult milestone birthdays. Discuss theme and style preferences during an initial consultation, then confirm whether you need a full package or à la carte elements. Ask about the deposit required to secure the date (typically 30–50% on signing), when the balance falls due (usually one to two weeks before the event), and the lead time the team needs — in-demand children's entertainers and balloon decorators are often booked six to twelve weeks ahead for weekend slots. Confirm the setup and teardown windows at your chosen venue, whether a travel surcharge applies for non-central locations, and the wet-weather or backup contingency if any element is planned outdoors or in a semi-open HDB void deck.
Contact The Next Big Thing Entertainment via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form with your event date and a brief description of what you have in mind to receive a package proposal.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
Fantastic experience so far. Been visiting once a week on average since I chance upon this place in Sep 25. Love the in house band who always throw in a spectacular show every time. Like attending a concert, very good vibes especially on Fri night. Nice food - nacho tower, fries, 辣子鸡, etc.. Special thanks to Nicholas who is always helpful with my booking, making arrangement. All the best to him in his next endeavour 👍🫡
Went here to celebrate my friend’s birthday yesterday and had such a great time! We ordered arashi black and arashi super dry x2 along with truffle béarnaise fries and the loaded nachos tower. Everything tasted amazing and paired perfectly with the drinks. The highlight of the night was definitely the chinese live band. Zi jie and his team are super talented and can really sing! They brought so much energy to the crowd and made the whole night feel so enjoyable. Definitely a perfect spot for live music, drinks, and gatherings with friends. Highly recommended!
It's a great place to listen to music, mostly Chinese songs. The food selection isn't huge, but everything is pretty good. I especially love their satay and char kueh. It's a great place for friends to get together, listen to music, and sing along. It is recommended to make an appointment in advance.
nice music and attentive staff! gave us a low table seeing that im pregnant and not suitable for high table. food is delicious and affordable too. thank you for the lovely experience!
One of the best live band venue in Singapore… take note that it only open from Wed to Sat… it gives more of “live concert” feel rather than live band… instead of the single vocal who sing throughout. They have quite a number of singers (at least 6)…

Birthday party packages from entertainment providers in Singapore typically range from S$500 to S$2,500 depending on the scope — covering elements such as a live entertainer or emcee, balloon sculpting or décor installations, party games, and activity facilitation. The Next Big Thing Entertainment uses package-based pricing; the exact figure depends on the components selected, the duration of coverage, headcount, and venue type. When reviewing any quotation, confirm what is included: number of hours or performers, specific activities and deliverables, setup and teardown time, travel surcharge for non-central venues, and GST. The deposit on signing (typically 30–50%) secures the date, with the balance usually due one to two weeks before the event. See the full Birthday Parties cost guide for Singapore →
For birthday parties, six to twelve weeks ahead is a reasonable lead time for popular children's entertainers and balloon decorators, particularly for Saturday and Sunday slots. Weekend mornings from 10am to 1pm book out earliest, especially during the school holiday periods in June and December. If your event falls on a public holiday weekend or you have a very specific theme requirement that needs custom props or costumes, give yourself additional lead time. Confirm whether the date is firmly held from the moment you pay the deposit, and ask about the rescheduling policy if the birthday child is unwell closer to the date — many providers allow one free date change with sufficient notice.
The Singapore events industry standard is a non-refundable deposit of 30–50% on signing, which covers the date hold and any preparation or planning hours before the event. The balance is typically due one to two weeks before the party date. Confirm in writing exactly what the deposit covers, what is refundable or transferable if you cancel, and whether the date can be rescheduled without forfeiting the deposit. Also ask about public liability insurance, particularly if the party is at an HDB void deck, a condo function room, or a hotel event space — some venues require a copy of the vendor's public liability certificate before permitting setup. Put the deliverables, balance schedule, rescheduling terms, and any venue-specific requirements in writing before paying.
