The Salvation Army Student Care is a student care provider operating islandwide across Singapore, listed and verified on KakiList. It is priced at the mid-range ($$) on a monthly recurring basis. Families exploring student care should begin by enquiring about available slots for their intended start month, as places can fill quickly, particularly at the start of the school year in January. When you contact the centre, ask about the daily routine, homework supervision arrangements, the ratio of staff to children, and the settling-in period for new enrolees. It is also worth confirming whether the centre is able to facilitate ECDA subsidies for Singapore citizen children, as eligibility and quantum depend on individual circumstances.
The most direct next step is to reach out via phone or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current vacancy, arrange a centre visit, and request a copy of the fee schedule and parent contract before committing.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

My child has been attending this student care for the past few years, and as we prepare to withdraw due to secondary school progression, I wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation to the entire team. The teachers here are patient, caring, and truly dedicated to the children’s well-being. My child always felt safe, supported, and happy, and we’ve seen such a wonderful growth in confidence and independence. The centre is well-organized, communication is clear, and the daily routines—from homework supervision to engaging activities—are thoughtfully structured. I especially appreciate how the teachers take time to understand each child’s needs and personality. We are sad to be leaving but incredibly grateful for the wonderful experience. Thank you to all the teachers and staff for creating such a warm and nurturing environment. Highly recommended for any parent looking for a trustworthy and caring student care!
My daughter has been at Salvation Army since P1 and she stayed there for more than 3 years. I would highly recommend this centre, because they provide a warm and friendly environment, delicious and healthy meals, as well as comprehensive and meticulous care and rich activities during school holidays. You can always trust the gentle and attentive teachers. This centre offers a reasonable price and has experienced tuition teachers of the four main subjects regularly conducting classes. Over the past three years, my child has grown up here healthily and happily, she really enjoy her centre life and still miss her teachers and friends very much.❤️
The teachers are very helpful and caring. They have been guiding my children since they were in Primary One. Teachers and volunteers are very patient and kind as well. Thank you for taking care of them all the years we've been with you. All the best!
Sent my 2 kids there. The eldest have been there for 3 years. Good caring student care, special mention to Tr Hema. You can see that all the children there love her. Have good balance for indoor (study time) and outdoor activities. During holiday, they always have programmes to entertain the children (Bouncy Castle, SEA aquarium, craft, speech, etc).
My child attended SASCC since p1. Teachers are committed and caring, always checking in on them. Very reliable service. Children have outdoor playtime as well and lots of fun activities during school holidays.

The Salvation Army Student Care is priced at the mid-range ($$) on a monthly recurring fee model, which is standard for student care centres in Singapore. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-time registration fee, a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months of fees), and any miscellaneous charges such as uniform or insurance contributions. Childcare and student care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so you should not be charged GST on the core programme fee. Contact the centre directly for the exact monthly rate, as fees can vary by programme level or hours of care. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in an ECDA-licensed student care centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$300 per month for childcare, subject to the centre holding the relevant ECDA licence. Working mothers who clock 56 hours or more of employment per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Relief or associated subsidies. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy is income-tested and can bring the total combined subsidy higher — up to S$710 per month in some cases. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial subsidies at reduced rates. Subsidy quantum and eligibility criteria are updated periodically, so visit the ECDA website directly for the most current figures before making financial plans. Confirm with the centre whether it is registered to process ECDA subsidies on your behalf.
Student care places in Singapore, particularly at established centres, can be competitive. It is generally advisable to enquire at least three to six months before your intended start date, and for January intake — which coincides with the new school year — enquiring in the preceding mid-year is prudent. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Given that this centre holds only 17 Google reviews, KakiList recommends contacting The Salvation Army Student Care directly by phone or via the enquiry form to confirm current availability, the registration process, and any documentation required for enrolment.
