Enquire by sharing your event date, venue, and headcount via WhatsApp, phone, or the online contact form. The Unexpected Guests SG are based at 311 Jalan Besar and cover events islandwide, so confirm whether a travel charge applies for non-central venues. Discuss the entertainment format — whether that is a DJ set, live performance, emcee, or another act — alongside the duration of coverage, any specific theme or style requirements, and whether the package is fixed or à la carte. Clarify the setup and sound-check window relative to guest arrival, the deposit required to secure the date (typically 30–50% on signing), and the balance payment schedule. For outdoor or partially outdoor events, ask about wet-weather contingency and whether public liability insurance is held, particularly if the venue requires a copy of the certificate for HDB void deck or condo function room bookings.
To move forward, reach out via WhatsApp or the contact form with your event date, venue type, and a brief description of the entertainment you have in mind, and request a written package proposal before paying any deposit.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
You will loveeee this if you love immersive experiences and whimsy concepts. Fun and interactive, you are transported in a new world, a perfect getaway from mundane life in SG. Each course is a new world and new concept, with narrators to tell you the origin and lore of the world. Best to come in a pair, but bring 3 other pairs and you will fill one session up and have a grand old time jesting with the anchors/staff. Highly reccommended!!!
The name says it all. We were welcomed in on the dot and the craziness begun. Staff explained some entailment of the evening and apart from the two alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) drinks at the entree and dessert, drinks that went with the four mains will need to be bought. The drink prices for the package was quite pricey but was more worthwhile if you have a DBS/POSB credit card, where the deal was a 1-for-1. Non-alcoholic drink package was S$108 per person. I think if you had to pay full price for two, you can go without it. The food was pretty interesting. staff made it fun by having us guest what ingredients there were and my favourite was 100% the “charcoal” that went with the burger. I won’t spoil the surprise here but it was very tasty. The experience included climbing, ducking, and crawling. So certainly wear something appropriate and if possible, without too many belongings. The venue is also fairly cold so bring a sweater or something. The craziest entertainer was at the dessert stage. Overall, wonderful experience.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening with the wife! The hosts were fun & engaging, the food super delicious though a couple of dishes were a tad salty. Looking forward to Vol 2! Remember to use your SG Culture Pass when purchasing tix!
Very entertaining food journey through the night. The staff were really in character throughout. Some of the food such as the burger quite good. As for the alcohol pairing, it was a miss for me with the cola but was a hit for my other friends. Love the decor and experience, recommend it at least once for the experience! Oh yes, and you’ll collect cards along the way which will describe what you’ll be eating and they form something at the end!

Pricing is package-based and varies by entertainment format, duration, and event type. Singapore market norms for entertainment providers: DJ or emcee for a standard event slot typically S$600–3,000+, live band or ensemble S$1,500–5,000+, and speciality acts (magicians, mascots, interactive performers) S$500–2,500 for a typical booking window. Itemise in writing: deposit on signing (typically 30–50%), balance schedule (usually 1–2 weeks before the event), hours of coverage, equipment provision (PA, lighting, microphones — confirm what is included versus what you need to supply), and a travel charge for non-central venues. GST applies if the provider is GST-registered — confirm this when reviewing the quotation. See the full Entertainment cost guide for Singapore →
Lead time depends heavily on the event type. For weddings, popular entertainment acts and emcees book out 6–12 months ahead, with peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November filling earliest. For birthday parties and baby celebrations, 6–12 weeks is generally sufficient for in-demand performers, though popular acts can fill up sooner during school holiday periods. For corporate events or large-scale functions, 2–4 months is a sensible minimum. Confirm whether the date is firmly held only upon receipt of the deposit — most entertainment providers do not pencil-book dates without a commitment. Ask about wet-weather or backup contingency if any portion of the event is outdoors, and get the rescheduling policy in writing at the time of booking.
Singapore industry standard is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the event date, with the balance due 1–2 weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers — typically the date hold and any pre-event planning or coordination hours — and whether it is refundable or transferable to a future date if your event is postponed or cancelled. Cancellation terms vary by provider. Most entertainment acts treat the deposit as non-refundable given that the date is blocked for other enquiries, but reputable providers allow rescheduling within a reasonable window. Ask specifically about force-majeure scenarios (venue closure, public-health restrictions) and whether rescheduling is permitted without penalty in those cases. Also ask about public liability insurance, particularly if your venue — HDB void deck, condo function room, or hotel ballroom — requires a copy of the certificate before setup can begin.
