About Thiamyian Bakery
Thiamyian Bakery is a baby celebrations specialist operating islandwide from its base at Upper Serangoon Road. The listing is KakiList-verified, and a Google rating of 4.7 across 80 reviews provides a reasonably solid signal of consistent quality. Package pricing is available, placing it in the mid-range bracket for Singapore baby celebrations vendors.
When planning a full-month, 100-day, or baby shower with Thiamyian Bakery, begin by contacting the team via phone or the enquiry form with your event date, expected headcount, and any theme or dietary requirements — for instance, whether guests include Muslim attendees requiring halal-certified products, or whether you need red eggs and ang ku kueh alongside modern bakes. Discuss package inclusions versus à la carte additions, and confirm the deposit required on signing (typically 30–50%) and the balance schedule. Baby celebrations bookings are generally best secured 6–12 weeks ahead for in-demand dates, though popular weekend slots can fill earlier. Ask about the setup and teardown window if Thiamyian Bakery is delivering to a venue, and confirm a wet-weather or contingency plan for any outdoor element.
To move forward, reach out via phone or the online form with your event date and party size to check availability and request a package quote.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
Had a sudden craving for old-school cream cakes, and luck was on my side — stumbled upon Thiam Yian Confectionery 甜圆西饼屋 at Kovan! 🏠✨ Picked up a pack of Butter Cream Slice Cakes — both Chocolate & Vanilla flavors, 4 pieces of traditional goodness. Biting into them instantly brought me back to childhood — soft, creamy, and nostalgic. Sometimes the simplest cakes are the sweetest memories. 😋💛 #ThiamYianConfectionery #TraditionalCreamCake #ButterCreamCake #OldSchoolCakes #SGBakery #KovanEats #NostalgicTreats #SweetMemories #SGFoodies #SGEats #FoodieSG #CakeLovers #ChildhoodFlavors #DessertTime #mealsphotos @thiamyian
Celebrated friend birthday with nostalgic gel cream cake that we traditionally used to eat as kids, cake was very fresh! Will come by again :) shop sells 红白 too, I really love it!
It turn out better than expected. Traditional bakery shop, we went there to get the sweet da lao bing for my bro wedding. Very pretty packaging, the bing is very solid, about 18cm in diameter, 6cm thick. Products are value for money.
There are still a few old-school confectionery and bakery shops around, but Thiam Yian confectionery really caught my eye as I was walking past. I decided to drop in and check out their products, and I found them quite different from those at other bakeries. I bought two types of pastries (old school egg based pastry and old school folded bread) to try and was very pleased with both the taste and freshness. Prices are cheap and reasonable too. Will try their delicious looking old school cake slices next round. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!
Found them in grab mart. Tried for the first time and their old school cream cakes like the blueberry and strawberry cream are so good. The butter banana cake is also so soft. All their sponge cakes are definitely very fresh. Best I have tasted in Singapore! Thank you for being on Grab. Now I can order and eat every time!

Thiamyian Bakery offers package pricing for baby celebrations, which typically covers items such as a customised cake, decorative pieces, or a bundled celebration spread. For Singapore baby full-month and 100-day packages, the market range sits roughly between S$300 and S$2,000 depending on the scope — a simple customised cake with ang ku kueh and red eggs sits at the lower end, while a full styled dessert table or catered spread reaches higher. Confirm in writing exactly what is included: the deposit required on signing (typically 30–50%), the balance due date, any delivery or setup fee for islandwide locations, and GST where applicable. Ask whether dietary options such as halal-certified or no-pork items are available for mixed-faith guest lists. See the full baby celebrations cost guide for Singapore →
For baby full-month and 100-day celebrations, 6–12 weeks ahead is a practical minimum — popular weekend slots, especially on auspicious dates, fill earlier than that. If your event date is fixed by the lunar calendar or a preferred weekend, enquire as soon as the date is confirmed. Confirm whether the booking date is held by a deposit and what happens if you need to shift the date slightly — newborn timelines sometimes move. Ask about the lead time for any custom or personalised elements such as printed name labels, bespoke cake toppers, or branded packaging, as these may require an earlier cut-off than the event itself.
The Singapore industry standard for baby celebration vendors is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers — date hold, custom design work, any bespoke items — and whether it is refundable or transferable to a future date if plans change. Ask about the rescheduling policy specifically, as newborn events occasionally shift due to health or family circumstances. Also confirm the public liability insurance position if Thiamyian Bakery is setting up at an HDB void deck, condo function room, or hotel venue, as some venues require a copy of the vendor's insurance certificate before permitting setup.
