About This Humid House

About This Humid House

This Humid House is a floral studio based at 94C Jalan Senang, offering islandwide event floristry services. It is KakiList-verified, and its 5/5 rating across 34 Google reviews is a moderate sample that suggests consistent client satisfaction, though it remains worth confirming current availability and scope directly. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range ($$) and follows a package model.

Enquiries are best made by WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form — lead time of at least two to four weeks is advisable for bridal bouquets and event arrangements, with considerably more notice recommended during peak wedding season in March, April, October, and November when Saturday bookings fill early. When reaching out, share the event date, venue, rough headcount, and any colour palette or style references so the studio can propose a package or à la carte option suited to the brief. For weddings, confirm whether the scope covers the bridal bouquet only or extends to ceremony aisle arrangements, table centrepieces, arch florals, and reception entrance pieces, as each adds to the overall investment. Ask about setup and teardown windows at the venue and whether a site recce is offered, and put the deliverables, balance payment schedule, and any wet-weather or substitute-arrangement contingency in writing before paying the deposit.

To move forward, contact This Humid House via WhatsApp or the enquiry form with your event date and a brief mood-board or reference image — this gives the florist enough context to confirm availability and prepare a personalised package proposal.

I recently completed a 3-day intensive workshop with The Humid House, and it was an incredible experience. The organization was top-notch, the structure of the workshop was great, the curriculum that was laid out in great detail, covering everything from theory to practical methods and techniques. I particularly loved how we used plants and flowers as a medium to even teach broader design concepts. It was a refreshing approach that gave me a completely new perspective on composition and structure. The studio itself is a beautiful space to work in. we were given access to see all the materials, the pots, plants, library enough time and access with all the mentors Andria, Carol, Sam and Frank. the workshop was lead by the creative director Jhon who made sure there was a debrief after every exercise so everyone have insightful take aways. special appreciation for sook from the management team who made sure my dietary restrictions were taken care of. I left these three days feeling inspired and equipped with a new toolkit for my design practice. Highly recommended this even if its your first time working with flowers and plants.

John and the talented THH team are truly amazing! Attending this workshop was a breathtaking experience—one that words can barely capture. Over the three days, we were immersed in meaningful sharing and hands-on exercises; It wasn’t just about learning techniques; it was about witnessing a way of thinking, feeling, and interpreting the world. This workshop welcomes everyone, even those with no floristry background. It opened my eyes to an entirely new way of seeing botanical elements, design, and life itself. I feel truly blessed to have been here.

Had a really wonderful experience attending their workshop in Singapore which is really inspiring and fruitful. You can really feel the amount of thought and effort they put into designing the course with different exercises every session. Would definitely recommend anyone with an interest of in flowers and design to join their workshop.

“A certain type of perfection can only be realised through a limitless accumulation of the imperfect.” — Haruki Murakami We engaged Humid House for our wedding and the quality of work, the floral arrangements, and every level of detail — I think the pictures speak for itself. What I would like to commend instead is the level of humanity and personal touch that they displayed throughout the entire wedding process and making such a special day truly special. The creative direction and correspondence between the wedding venue were all handled thoroughly and professionally, where we did not have to worry about a single missing detail. Truly inspiring, humbling and what a wonderful experience in all. Please extend our heartiest gratitude to Sam and Carina and the wonderful team over at Humid House who worked on our wedding.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does This Humid House charge?

This Humid House uses a package pricing model, which is standard for event floristry. Singapore market norms for floral services: bridal bouquets typically S$150–400, bridesmaids' posies S$60–120 each, ceremony arch or backdrop florals S$500–2,000+, aisle arrangements S$300–1,200, and table centrepieces S$80–300 per table depending on scale and flower selection. Full wedding floral packages bundling several of these elements generally run S$1,500–6,000+ for mid-range briefs. Confirm the deposit required on signing (typically 30–50% to secure the date), when the balance is due (usually one to two weeks before the event), and whether the quote includes delivery, setup, and teardown at the venue or whether those carry a separate charge. Travel surcharges may apply for venues outside the central region. See the full floral cost guide for Singapore →

How far ahead should I book This Humid House?

For wedding floristry, six to twelve months ahead is the safe window — popular florists in Singapore book out their peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November well in advance. Even for a mid-week solemnisation or an intimate ceremony, three to six months' notice is advisable to allow time for a proper consultation, mood-board alignment, and flower sourcing. For other events such as birthday parties, baby full-month celebrations, or corporate table arrangements, four to eight weeks is generally sufficient, though shorter lead times may be accommodated subject to availability. For everyday arrangements, one week is typically fine. Confirm whether the event date is held firm once the deposit is paid and ask about the rescheduling policy if circumstances change — most reputable florists allow a date transfer within a defined window.

What does the deposit cover and what is the cancellation policy at This Humid House?

Singapore industry standard for event floristry is a non-refundable deposit of 30–50% on signing, which secures the date and covers initial design and planning hours, flower procurement commitments, and any mock-up or trial arrangement work. The balance is typically due one to two weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what happens if the event date changes — most established florists will transfer the deposit to a rescheduled date within six to twelve months at no penalty, but this should be agreed upfront rather than assumed. For outdoor ceremonies or garden-venue weddings, ask whether a wet-weather contingency plan is included (alternative indoor arrangement scope or a partial credit). Public liability insurance is worth confirming, particularly if the setup involves large freestanding installations at an HDB void deck or condo venue that requires documentation from vendors.
