I cannot recommend The Kidz Club enough! When my daughter attended during her early years, the care and attention she received were truly exceptional. The staff were warm, patient, and genuinely dedicated to the children’s well-being and development. They even catered to her special dietary needs—we’re vegetarian—and she loved the food they prepared for her! The environment was safe and nurturing, with a perfect balance of learning and play. Communication with parents was always clear and proactive, Madam Lim took prompt action whenever I share my valid feedback, which gave me great peace of mind. One of the most remarkable changes was in her attitude toward Chinese—she used to dislike the subject, but thanks to the inspiring Chinese teacher at TKC Bukit Timah branch, she developed a love for it and is now an achiever in the subject. My daughter grew so much socially and emotionally during her time there. Even now, at 18, she fondly remembers the lovely environment and all the staff, including Uncle Melvin—the bus uncle who sent her home daily after the centre closed. As a working mother with a busy schedule, TKC was the best choice for me—and, of course, for my daughter. I’m deeply grateful for the wonderful foundation they provided.

We are so happy with The Kids Club! Mdm Lim and the team place great emphasis on values and organize engaging activities every day. The teachers who guide my daughter’s homework are diligent, giving encouragement and feedback, while the lunch and afternoon tea teachers always check she has enough and what she likes. The food is delicious, and she always comes home happy. Special thanks to Mdm Lim, Mrs Rajam, and all her teachers—we feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful childcare center

TKC mistreats children and deserves zero stars if that option were available. I can completely relate to my friend who withdrew her son years ago and warned me in advance. Now that we are facing a similar situation, it really hits us. The centre promotes itself as a "third home" for children, but their actions are completely out of tune with that message. The way they treated a child who was simply trying to learn was unkind and frankly unacceptable. I experienced poor follow-up firsthand, despite multiple attempts to speak with the so-called "teacher-in-charge," no one ever called back or provided any proper resolution. The staff are incompetent and unprofessional, and this is certainly not a place for nurturing. Parents, please beware! I felt my child being bullied. We paid a premium rate but received substandard service, far below what was expected for the price. Reply to Mdm Lim: Your response neither surprises me nor changes the facts. What I shared in my review was an honest and measured account of my family’s experience. It is unfortunate that instead of acknowledging what went wrong, your reply chose to deflect responsibility and suggest legal consequences for speaking out. Let me be very clear: I have every right to share our experience publicly, especially after multiple attempts to raise our concerns through your internal channels were met with silence, delay, or vague responses. The issues I highlighted were not isolated, nor were they exaggerated. They reflect a consistent pattern of poor communication, lack of follow-up, and a troubling inability to prioritize a child’s well-being. As for your references to waivers and meeting offers, those are beside the point. This is not about administrative concessions or token gestures. It is about how a child was made to feel dismissed and unsupported in a place that claims to be their ‘third home.’ The notice fee waiver was granted only after my explicit request, and rightly so, my children did not attend the student care at all in June 2025 due to the distressing environment caused by your staff. As a parent, I was left to manage the emotional toll and resistance from my child, who flatly refused to return after experiencing repeated mistreatment under your care. Regarding the proposed 6:30 a.m. meeting time, let me be clear: this is not a parent-centric solution, but a workaround to accommodate your staff’s unavailability during proper and reasonable hours, namely student check-out in the evening. It reflects a troubling lack of consideration for working parents and further underscores the poor management and inflexibility we have had to endure. If TKC believes there is no wrongdoing, you are free to proceed with any formal investigations. I will likewise be prepared to present my side with full transparency and evidence. This review was not written lightly. It is meant to hold your centre accountable and to inform other parents honestly. I suggest that energy spent on defending your image be redirected to reflecting on how such a situation was allowed to escalate in the first place. We used to enjoy our time at TKC and were thankful for it. However, that is no longer the case ever since the centre became at least twice as crowded with students, coupled with frequent teaching staff turnover.

My kid has been with TKC for the past 4 years. It is extremely well-organised in its curriculum. Teachers are caring and dedicated, especially Teacher Janet, she is a gem! Administration staff Mrs Rajan has always been responsible and attentive to details. Besides normal curriculum, interesting outings and workshops are carried out during school holidays too. It shows that TKC believes in working hard and playing hard as well. My kid and I will miss this place upon his P6 graduation. Thank you very much Teacher Cecilia and  Mdm Lim for the care and dedication too!
