Teleconsult with a Singapore doctor on the WhiteCoat app.
WhiteCoat handles a steady flow of Health Screening requests. That focus shapes how they quote — expect practical questions about the scope of work and the property before any figures are discussed.
WhiteCoat covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. Google reviewers currently give WhiteCoat an average of 3.4/5 across 252 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a healthcare provider.
If you want to gauge whether WhiteCoat is the right fit for your job, the fastest path is a WhatsApp message with photos of the issue, your postal code, and a rough preferred slot. Most providers on KakiList respond within a few hours during business hours and can quote before scheduling a visit.
This was honestly one of the worst teleconsultation experiences I’ve had. If it weren’t for my corporate insurance, I would have gone elsewhere. I had a virtual consultation with Dr. Siti Aishah and found it quite unhelpful. She seemed to dismiss my skin condition, even though I was experiencing severe itching and a rash. During the consultation, she looked at my skin through the camera and said it “looked normal.” Of course it did, the symptoms had subsided somewhat because I had already taken antihistamines and applied anti-itch cream for relief!!! The medication delivery only arrived around 4:30 PM, which added to the frustration. She then suggested I see a physical doctor, but I had already tried to do so earlier. Unfortunately, the clinic I went to had no doctor available at the time, and the staff advised me to proceed with a teleconsultation instead. So yes, I did attempt an in-person visit before this. Overall, I felt dismissed and not taken seriously. It was disappointing, especially when the medications prescribed were the same as what I already had. If you’re not genuinely interested in helping patients, it might be worth reconsidering your approach to care. Honestly, I’d rather go to any other doctor than repeat this experience.
I was very sick, with flu and cough. I requested for 2 days MC as I needed more than a day of rest. But the doctor told me that they are not allowed to give 2 days and have to request again the next day. So the next day when I ask for extension, they deducted another visit from my corporate plan! Lucky I am under corporate plan, if not I need to pay x2 the consultation just to get 2 days of MC! I don’t think anyone can recovered from urti within a day? With medicine only delivered the next day (which is the day I am on mc). Is getting worse!
Horrible app! It says that there was just 1 person before me and when I check back in 5 mins, it became 4 person before me. Waited for more than 1hr and there is still no doctor. Might as well just visit the nearest GP and it will probably be faster.
Have not received my medication after 14 hours since consultation. Mind you I consulted the doctor at 4pm yesterday. Am terribly sick but delivery came at 1am but failed because I didn’t wake up from my nights rest to give the delivery driver a PIN code. what a pointless system, other teleconsults delivery are seamless - Rida is a wall in your face because when u reach out to Rida, expect them to not be able to help and direct you to a generic email from Whitecoat, which has not answered me. For now, my medications are missing and i don’t know how to reschedule for delivery as there is no customer service from Whitecoat. After all this, I’m still terribly sick
WhiteCoat doctor linked my MC to medicine sales — very unprofessional. I usually have good experiences with WhiteCoat, most doctors are caring and professional. Unfortunately, my consult with Dr Rachel Loh was very disappointing. She initially agreed to give me 2 days MC for food poisoning, but when she saw I didn’t purchase medicine during a consultation two months ago, she changed it to 1 day MC. I had the medicine at home, why should I be forced to buy duplicates? Linking medical leave to whether a patient buys medicine feels punitive and unprofessional. I’m not against buying medicine. But when a doctor pushes medicine as if buying it validates how sick I am, I’m definitely against that. In fact, during a later consult on Speedoc (which was also cheaper), I purchased prescribed probiotics that I found helpful. The Speedoc doctor also asked about my diet, cared about the root cause, and issued 2 days MC without conditions. That is what proper telemedicine should look like. If WhiteCoat wants to keep patient trust, MCs should be based on health, not medicine sales. Choose which experience you'd prefer. Save your time and money, especially when you're sick.
