About World Music Entertainment
World Music Entertainment is an entertainment vendor based at 2 Aliwal St, Singapore 199895, offering islandwide event entertainment services on a package basis. KakiList has verified their operating details and contact channel, and the company holds a 3.9/5 rating across 52 Google reviews — a moderate sample that provides a reasonable directional signal on client experience. Pricing sits in the mid-range ($$) for the Singapore entertainment market; specific package figures are not publicly listed and should be requested directly.
For most bookings, the process begins by contacting World Music Entertainment via WhatsApp or phone with your event date, venue, and headcount. From there, you would discuss the nature of the event — whether a wedding reception, corporate dinner, birthday celebration, or baby full-month gathering — and confirm the entertainment format, duration of performance or coverage, and any technical requirements such as PA or stage setup. Deposit and balance payment terms, travel charges for non-central venues, and the rescheduling or cancellation policy should all be confirmed in writing before signing.
To proceed, reach out via WhatsApp or phone with your event date and a brief description of the occasion, and request a written package breakdown before paying any deposit.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
This is by far the WORST music I have heard! The songs were so old! At least if they were old they could have been hits or danceable songs... But they were not! There were NO current songs at all! The DJ does not play the whole songs you request, just PARTS of your song. How awful! Don't bother requesting! There is also no change in the type of beat he plays. And what's with the sudden, random changes in languages? Suddenly 2 Hindi songs. Then 2 English. Then back to a whole host of Tamil songs. There was no sustained set at all! Also, he does not engage with the crowd and does not even notice that people are NOT dancing bec the songs are so lousy. It was a Saturday night and it was not as crowded as before. Also, there is no live singing. From 1030 till 1230, people were mostly outside the club! The service staff however were very attentive and efficient. Esp the Malay girls. But we went for the music so my entire group was so cheesed off with the bad DJ'ing. It was like he did not know any happening songs! Gosh! Never wasting our money on this place again! Should have gone to Magic World. Was more expensive but at least there was live singing!
Music was good. Many tables and chairs for patrons. But food was terrible and overpriced. They also did not offer any shots. Only had entire bottles. Average at best.
Still one of the best Indian clubs pre and post covid. The Manager is very attentive and customer orientated. Quick service. Most importantly, pricing is decent.
Very nice music event. My rating is 10/ 5 actually for their neatness ans service.
Music is ridiculously loud. This place looks super shady and not welcoming at all and should get closed anyway as it doesn’t respect the law.

World Music Entertainment prices its entertainment services as packages, with specific figures available on request rather than publicly listed. As a general reference, the Singapore market for event entertainment typically ranges from S$600 to S$3,000+ for a standard performance slot — covering acts such as DJs, live bands, emcees, and similar entertainment — depending on the format, number of performers, and duration. Itemise the following before agreeing to any package: the number of hours or sets covered, setup and soundcheck time included or billed separately, travel charge for non-central venues, deposit required on signing (typically 30–50%), balance due date, and whether GST applies. Lead time depends heavily on the event type. For weddings, popular entertainment acts and live bands in Singapore book out 6–12 months ahead, with peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November filling earliest. For corporate dinners, birthday parties, and baby full-month or 100-day celebrations, 6–12 weeks is typically sufficient for most acts, though in-demand performers can go faster. Confirm whether your chosen date is firmly held only once the deposit is paid, and ask about a wet-weather or venue-change contingency if any portion of the performance is outdoors. Last-minute bookings may be possible subject to availability, but choice of act and package scope will be more limited.
Singapore industry standard for event entertainment is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the date and performance slot, with the balance typically due one to two weeks before the event. Confirm in writing what the deposit covers — date hold, pre-event preparation, equipment reservation — and whether it is refundable or transferable to a future date if you need to cancel or reschedule. Also ask about the rescheduling policy in the event of a force-majeure situation such as a public-health restriction or venue closure. For setups at HDB void decks, condo function rooms, or hotel venues, the venue may require a copy of the vendor's public liability insurance certificate — confirm whether World Music Entertainment holds this coverage and can supply it on request.
