About Yellow River Singapore
Yellow River Singapore is a decor and balloons provider operating islandwide from its base at 152 Beach Rd, Gateway East. The listing has been verified by KakiList, though the Google rating of 3.7 across only 3 reviews is too small a sample to draw conclusions about service quality. Pricing is indicated at a mid-range level on a package basis.
Enquiries typically begin with the event date, venue, and a brief on the theme or colour palette, followed by a scope discussion covering balloon installations, backdrop setups, table centrepieces, or full-room decor packages. Lead time for balloon decorators and decor specialists is usually 6–12 weeks for in-demand event dates, with popular Saturdays in wedding season (March–April and October–November) booking out earliest. Confirm the setup and teardown windows carefully — these often fall outside the venue's rented hours and need to be agreed with the venue in advance. If the event is held at an HDB void deck, condo function room, or hotel, ask whether Yellow River Singapore carries public liability insurance, as some venues require a copy of the certificate before permitting installation work. A deposit of 30–50% on signing is standard to secure the date, with the balance typically due one to two weeks before the event.
To move forward, contact Yellow River Singapore with your event date, venue details, expected headcount, and any theme references, and request a written quotation that itemises all deliverables, the deposit schedule, and the rescheduling policy.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
When I first arrived in Singapore for work I certainly could not afford to rent anywhere to live so I actually find a small room stay through Joseph. I still remember that he left food and drinks outside my room during the Covid-19 period as I pretty sick on the day. Thank you very much, good service you provide there.
This is a company that scams out your money. They will provide room rental from very old , almost about to fall down houses/rooms and ask you to sign contracts that you will be liable for everything. Often comes with multiple issues and they will not take responsibility for anything other than taking your money. They will never return your deposit and there has been multiple reports of this for many people who rented room. DO NOT GET SCAMMED.

Yellow River Singapore prices decor and balloon services on a package basis, with the mid-range indicator suggesting spend in the bracket typical for this subcategory. Singapore market norms for balloon and decor packages run from roughly S$300–500 for a straightforward balloon arch or backdrop to S$1,500–3,000+ for full-room installations with custom backdrops, table centrepieces, and props. Key items to confirm in writing before paying: the deposit amount (typically 30–50% on signing), the balance due date (usually one to two weeks pre-event), the number of setup and teardown hours included, a travel charge for non-central venues, and whether the quote covers delivery of materials to the venue or installation only. Ask whether GST is included in the quoted figure. See the full Decor & Balloons cost guide for Singapore →
For balloon decorators and decor specialists, 6–12 weeks ahead is a reasonable minimum for birthday parties and baby full-month celebrations. Wedding-adjacent decor — where the provider must coordinate with a venue on setup windows — is best booked 3–6 months ahead, with peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November filling earliest. Confirm whether the deposit holds the date exclusively and ask about the rescheduling policy if a venue change or unforeseen circumstance forces a date shift. For outdoor or partially outdoor events, clarify the wet-weather contingency and whether there is a call-out charge if setup is delayed or aborted. Given the limited review data currently available for Yellow River Singapore, it is worth speaking directly with the team and, if possible, viewing past work before committing.
The standard industry practice in Singapore is a 30–50% deposit on signing to secure the event date, with the remaining balance collected one to two weeks before the event. The deposit typically covers the date hold and any design consultation or mock-up work undertaken ahead of the event. Deposits are generally non-refundable on cancellation, though reputable providers will allow the deposit to be transferred to a future date if reasonable notice is given. Confirm this in writing before paying, along with the rescheduling window and any surcharge if the new date falls in a peak period. If the event is at an HDB void deck, condo function room, or hotel, ask whether Yellow River Singapore carries public liability insurance — some venues require a copy of the certificate before permitting installation. Put deliverables, balance schedule, setup and teardown access times, and the rescheduling policy in writing before signing off.
