About ACTFA School of Dance
ACTFA School of Dance is a KakiList-verified, ACRA-registered dance school operating islandwide from its studio at 66B Racecourse Road, Singapore. It holds a Google rating of 4 out of 5, though this is based on 12 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than definitive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific session or monthly fees are not publicly listed.
Parents and students looking to enrol are encouraged to enquire about level and syllabus fit before committing — whether that is beginner, intermediate, or examination-track classes, and which dance styles are offered at the relevant age group. It is worth asking whether a trial class is available, as this allows you to assess teaching style, class pacing, and whether the group level matches the student's current ability. Clarify whether classes are offered in group or one-to-one formats, what the term commitment looks like, and whether lessons take place exclusively at the Racecourse Road studio or at additional islandwide venues.
To take the next step, reach out to ACTFA School of Dance via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on their profile to ask about current class schedules, available levels, trial class options, and fees before making a commitment.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
I joined the Sunday evening social dance. Had a wonderful time. Friendly people and neat+comfortable venue. I would enjoy more Spanish-language songs if others would too. Thanks for the evening!
Not sure why there is no updated schedule in the website. Need to personally drop by to enquire. But when I went there, the door was always locked. Three times already. Is the school going to close down soon due to lack of students ? But their Facebook showed many happenings. Not sure what is going on here. Totally kill my interest in this school.
The studio looks a little tired and worn, but they have a wide variety of dance classes. The tango teacher is great.
Friendly and easy to get to. Just attended Monday Salsa party. Busiest early 915

As a general guide, dance school fees in Singapore typically range from S$30–80 per session for group classes, with monthly packages often offering a more cost-effective rate than paying per session. One-to-one instruction is priced higher, often S$80–150 per session. Many dance schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of the first session. A trial is a useful way to assess whether the teaching style suits the student, whether the class level is appropriate, and whether the studio environment feels comfortable. It is worth observing how the instructor engages with students of different abilities. When enquiring, ask specifically whether a trial class is available, what it costs, and whether attendance counts toward the first term if you proceed with enrolment. Contact ACTFA School of Dance directly via WhatsApp or phone to confirm their trial class policy.
Instructor credentials are not publicly listed for ACTFA School of Dance. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each instructor's dance training background, any professional performance experience, and whether they hold teaching certifications from recognised bodies such as the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), or Cecchetti Society. For children following an examination syllabus, it is also worth confirming that the instructor is registered with and up to date under the relevant examining board. If this information is not immediately available on their website or social media, ask directly before committing to a term.
