1) Rude staff 2) Overcharge and not transparent with their charges. Blood test labelled asLab test $100 but split it into 2 transactions $50 $50, indicating that it’s the only way to claim under CHAS orange card. 3) Prices of medication way much higher than any other clinics.
Dr Lim Peng Keong LACKS EMPATHY and the most UNPROFESSIONAL doctor I have ever met. He is so rude and assumes patients to know medical terms. If you do not have a heart to serve patients, please do not be a doctor!
Note: went there on weekday night, clinic was not crowded, around 3 patients at that time. The moment I stepped into Dr Lim consultation room, I recalled telling myself during my last visit (>6 months ago) not to be back here. It was like I was there to just get all sorts of medicine for all the symptoms I described. Similar to the last time and this recent visit, he didn't give me the final diagnosis and sort of shoo me out of the room. This time, I were in there for less than 1 min. I told him I took my own temperature cos I felt it was rather warm, but just slightly below what will constitute a fever in pandemic stated.....and he didn't even take my temperature. (Reception took it when I register, but was not recorded and didn't tell me what's the temperature too). Didn't advise what I should be doing or watching out for. So, I thought it was probably me over reacting till I saw 6 different types of medicine. Next, the reception were rude, I saw them being impatient with an elderly patient before me and treated everyone else like they were plague. This is uncalled for, it should be a place that patients feel safe in.
Dr Sim is a very experienced and good doctor. He is very careful and thorough in his medical examination and takes time to explain things when I ask questions. The counter staff are friendly and helpful too. Thank you for making me feel assured when I am unwell.
I visited this clinic on May 11, 2025, and upon registration, I informed the receptionist that I was experiencing a cough and runny nose. To my surprise, she immediately responded, “We don’t give out sleeping pills and cough syrup,” implying I might be seeking medication inappropriately. This comment felt presumptive and dismissive. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, this interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope the clinic addresses this behavior to ensure a more positive experience for future patients.
